Upgraded to this from a Series 2, so along with this review I thought I’d do a comparison between them for those of you confused about which one to get.First off, both the Series 2 and Series 3 are identical, looks wise. Since we’re not getting the LTE model of the Series 3 (which feature the red dot on the Digital Crown) in India because of lack of supporting cellular infrastructure, we have the GPS models only. That said, the Series 3 GPS has a composite (plastic) back instead of the superior ceramic back on the Series 2. Though this does not affect the heart rate reading capabilities (Series 1 also has a composite back), as the sensors are the same, the composite back is more prone to scratches over time compared to the ceramic back. This is my only complaint with the Series 3 GPS.There are a number of incremental updates to the Series 3 which justify an upgrade from Series 1 and 2. Firstly, the battery has been upgraded on 42mm models to 351 mAh from 334 mAh (S2) and 250 mAh (S1). This finally allows 2 day or even 3 day battery life, which was not possible earlier. The charging coil on the Series 3 has also been slightly modified so it now supports Qi wireless charging, earlier models don’t support it and can be charged only with the provided magnetic Apple charger.Storage capacity remains the same for all models at 8 GB but RAM has gone up to 768 MB from 512 MB (S2 & S1).The S3 also has a new S3 dual-core processor which is much, much faster. This is one of my primary reasons for switching to S3. Apple claims this new processor is up to 70% faster than the S2, and it shows. Earlier on the S2 there was sometimes a certain amount of lag while switching watch faces or while scrolling, and apps sometimes took a while to start, but now there is absolutely zero lag. Time to startup apps is also reduced, most apps starting almost instantaneously. The time to switch on is also drastically reduced to about 1 & half minutes, compared to the 3+ minutes on older models. This increased processing power now allows Siri to speak, earlier using Siri on S1 & S2 only had text based replies, but now she responds with voice just like on an iPhone. For this reason I believe Apple has also improved the speaker volume, I’ve noticed it’s a bit louder than before, even while taking calls on the speakerphone.Series 3 also features a W2 wireless chip supporting Bluetooth 4.2 against the older W1 wireless chip supporting Bluetooth 4.0 (W1 chips are also found on Apple AirPods and Beats X wireless earphones). Apple claims that the new W2 wireless chip is faster and more power efficient.Series 3 now also includes a barometric altimeter which allows it to track number of flights climbed, or elevation changes while running or cycling.Both S3 have the same Retina display with force touch and 1000 nits brightness, while S1 has force touch but only 500 nits of brightness.Also the S3 & S2 are waterproof up to a depth of 50 m and feature in built GPS, while the S1 doesn’t have in built GPS so to track running distances you’ll need to bring your iPhone with you, nor has waterproof capabilities (its water resist IPX7, up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, so you can still wash your hands and shower with it, but submerging in water is not recommended). With S3 and S2 you can swim and even track your swimming workouts.Other useful features across all Series is the ability to ping your iPhone if you can’t find it, holding the ping button also triggers the flash on the iPhone so it’s easier to find. The flashlight feature on the Watch is also very useful, it essentially turns the display white and increases the brightness, which I found myself using many times as it’s quicker than fumbling in my pocket for my phone.For those of us interested in the fitness tracking abilities on the Watch, the introduction of Watch OS 4 now includes a whole new range of metrics like testing heart rate, heart rate variability, VO2 max, heart rate recovery after a workout, along with standard features like heart rate tracking, active and resting calories, steps and distance travelled. On the GPS models (S3 & S2) outdoor running and walking workouts also display a map of your route as well as temperature and humidity. Also nice to have is the Breathe app on the Watch, which is a deep breathing/ meditation app which also tracks your heart rate and variability.For sleep tracking I’ve been using an app called AutoSleep which automatically tracks my sleep, deep sleep and heart rate and waking times without me having to go into the phone and set that I’m going to sleep or have woken up. It’s very accurate and fully automatic, so I just configure it and forget about it, and it automatically tracks my sleep. All this data is combined together and can be viewed in the Health app on the iPhone. I must add here that the Apple Watch is a great fitness companion and motivator.Overall I must say that the Series 3 is a worthy upgrade over the Series 2 and especially the Series 1. I’m very happy with it. 10/10.

The BPM and Breathe feature is the best thing I have ever seen in a gadgets like this. BPM measurement is all real time. The best highlight is Breathe feature, if you are stressed or angry, just follow 1 minute quick process. You will realize that you are are no longer feeling angry, irate. The display and battery life is mind-blowing. Overall, I am in love with this watch. Must have for apple product owners. Blindly go for it.

My search for the ultimate protector case with built in screen protector iwatch series 3 42mm watch has finally ended here. (After trying more than 10 of the top rated ones). What an awesome product! I’m just loving it. Fits so snuggly and give you all round protection and virtually invisible. In fact I just ordered one more. Worth every penny! Go for it!

It fits perfectly and thus the damage probablity lowers. If u wanna wear ur gadget in routine then u must protect it by using this product.

It is really needed product for the I watch . It gives an extra strength to the watch.I think the price is great for the product it is value for money product .It is very much durable and flexible .It has also got an button .And also has holes for all the buttons .I just love it.

This band is perfect in my Apple Watch series 3. The band is long, so can fit a small or big wrist. I’ve had other bands that get to move while I use them but it doesn’t move even when I’m in the gym. I want to buy more colors!

Very comfortable band just wish it was a little bit thicker. But other than that it’s a good band for the price.

I just received the device today, watch is little heavier (bcaz of ss) and looks premium.Straps are too soft and good for daily use.But the only crap is the Huawei health app! Latest version will not allow you to do many of the stuffs. It gets crashes and says need the latest version of Huawei mobile service app and won’t let the app load.And for now i have downloaded older version 10.0.3.*** which does not have many of the new features!Update:To fix the issue ‘Please install Huawei Mobile Service version 4 or higher”After installing huawei mobile service, go to settings – account and settings – add account – select Huawei ID – register/sign up that will fix the issue!Cheers!
