No doubt, it is excellent product for this price. It is covering my all the area that about 2500 sqft. It is working fine, good design, solid cover. Full coverage within 20- 25 feet around it. Comparing to its price it is a suggestible product.Hi, today 17th July 2017, I am using this router since July 2016. Feeling happy to write here again that is this an excellent product. I might be off it’s power since it purchased (24×7 service) and still working fine. It’s range is awesome. I have test up to 50 meters through 2×10 inch wall.
I bought this router for Rs.599 after seeing so many positive comments however it’s stopped connecting to any of my devices, and it’s only been like 3 months of use.. Going to try n see the solution Amazon or tenda provides and update here

So this is my first router.. easy to install.. configuration is easy too.. their are many pros & cons too.PROS1) Affordable/ effective price2) easy to install and configure3) wide signal coverage (due to dual antina)CONS1) Many advance settings are not available-But for normal user it doesn’t matter2) After sale service – worst costomer support.Final Words – Many good alternatives available. Is you are tight on bugdet and normal user (not too much in networking) go for it.Give A Thums Up IF this review seems helpfulThanks :).
Best in its price segment feels more durable and rugged than Mi 3c router although not lighter than it. Wifi range is good,connectivity is fast and wifi management is simple(configuration wise) .*Don’t buy a separate lan cable it comes with one already.

Pros:- The mesh works much better than multiple range extenders. I used this to replace a router plus two extenders and the network speed more than doubled.- Great app to configure the network – makes it super easy.Cons- The range of the nodes is not all that it is cracked up to be – similar to that of extenders. Needed three nodes for an 1800 sq ft apartment. Can’t see how it would work in the advertised range of 4000-6000 sq ft unless there are very few brick walls.- Very expensive.

Router gives good range in my 1200 sq ft apartment. Also, 5Ghz is useful for devices such as Fire TV stickI liked to Parental control per device on the router and the ability to setup a guest network. The phone APP is pretty good compared to Netgear Nighthawk app.However, WPS does not work (both Hardware and UI button) despite multiple attempts and contacting customer service (No response since last 4 days of e-mail to support.in@tenda.com.cn)Luckily my HP printer provides it’s own network for direct printing. Beats connecting the cable despite having to switch Wifi networks.Hopefully they respond in future. Taking off 1 star for the above 2 issues (WPS not working, Customer Service).Update: received call from Customer Support today and fixed the WPS issue. Turns out only HP printer does not connect via WPS. Looks like it needs to use unsecured Wifi to connect.

I’ve used Tenda for almost a month and the signal strength is excellent. The signal range for both bands is better than the other Gigabit routers in this price range. I’ve not faced any signal drop yet. I’m able to get almost maximum speed for my 100 mbps connection. I’ve installed many routers in the past but this set up was the easiest I’ve experienced. It took me less than a couple of minutes from set up to getting connected. Looks-wise this is a winner. Impressive router.

Got it just today. Easy enough to set up. Airtel Fibre Optic customers should connect via Ethernet between router and the Node. The setup manual provided misguides you there. So I had a problem setting up, but once I did… the results were wonderful. Getting 30-40 Mbps in every corner of the house including previously dead zones. Yet to experience other features. Will update review later.
I bought this to replace my Apple AirPort Extreme. I got the 3 units version. With 3 units it did not cover 2000 sqft even though it claims to cover much more. I have a 300 MBps connection and this could not provide speeds over 100 MBps.Their India support team shouted at me and were rude. After multiple followups they connected me to an US team who diagnosed one of the units is malfunctioning. And asked me to send it back to Amazon for a replacement. It took 3 months for them to acknowledge it. Obviously, Amazon replacement wasn’t possible as it was way past their return policy and hence no replacement was made.I have gone back to the AirPort Extreme as working with Linksys/Belkin is very hard. I had spent over 10 hours on the phone and no proper followups were done. They don’t have any support for the product in India so buy at your own risk.

So you end up paying fancy prices for a higher speed which you may or may not really get. Why is this relevant to this router? Because you may think you have subscribed to a high speed connection with your ISP but not getting the speed due to your local network or router. That should really not be the reason to get this router. You need to primarily first factor in the devices on your local network demanding high speed internet access. If you have IPTV and also have high powered gaming rigs around, watch a lot of online videos from time to time, need a good strong wifi signal around the home or office then certainly go for this router. Considering most devices in the market are bandwidth intensive its also a good idea to plan your network from now and start to slowly upgrade it. Gigabit devices are expensive currently but over time the old 10/100 switches etc will phase out completely. It is easy to setup if you have setup any company router in the past and also has an APP available both on Google Play as well as the Apple APP stores to help out novice users. The router is set by default to 192.168.0.1 so if you have IPCameras on your network or devices set to a fixed IP then suggest changing this router login page first to ensure everything continues to work out of the box.Coming to Gigabit LAN, if you have bandwidth intensive devices like DVR/NVR/IP Cameras then the Gigabit LAN becomes useful as the speed can go up to 5GBPS. Unlike some other switches or routers in the market, the LED for LAN does not light up with a different colour to let you know the device connected to the router is Gigabit compatible. There are other ways to check though and the rule of the thumb is older devices usually are 10/100 only. The router has a nifty base stand so it can be made to stand on a table or a sideboard, which is useful where wifi is concerned. Or it can lay flat on a table also but I think its what makes it different from others in the market when it stands on its base. Your choice. There are plenty of lights displaying on the router so a quick glance at it from time to time can tell you what is working and what is not. The WiFi as mentioned earlier is pretty robust with a strong 802.11ac signal due to the way the router is built especially the antennas. Correct placement of the router will also help in this aspect. Too close to a wall or antennas pointed the wrong way and you will lose out on the signal. Those having big homes or offices with a lot of dead zones can use wifi signal boosters or repeaters to further increase the signal. Its always a good idea to keep the router on the ground or the highest floor towards the area facing outside. A repeater may become necessary for people with too many floors and thick walls. Both 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels coexist on the router as with all the newer model routers in the market. You can share the same SSID name or choose different names for them including different passwords. Its better to leave the 2.4GHz channel on and set to the default frequency. Newer devices can use the 5GHz channel but older ones will prefer the 2.4GHz channel. Older devices also have trouble connecting to Hidden SSID networks so choose at your discretion. Those finding signal drops will also require the 2.4GHz channel as its better for longer range connectivity though at a reduced speed. If this router is kept in the main room where most of your bandwidth hungry devices are then 5GHz will work best. Its better to leave the dual band on so devices switch between signals as and when needed and network stability is maintained. As mentioned earlier I find the signal from the router quite strong as is and providing good speeds but you may need a range extender or booster. Again the more you extend the speed will also drop exponentially. Coming to WAN settings or your ISP settings the router has a helpful first time screen should you connect via your browser or through the APP to help you get it right. BSNL users will require a working modem first to provide WAN access as the router is only a router. Most people will not require anything further than this but the technical people will like the additional settings/stuff provided via the router software which I found quite practical and well organised unlike some of the other routers which you have to really search through all the settings to finally find what you need. There is also the option of a guest network like in most of the new model routers which might be useful for people who want to provide temporary internet access to guests without allowing them to browse other devices on the network. The Guest is in his/her own walled compound so to say and can only browse the internet. Useful for hotels/companies or some homes where you have sensitive data like Cameras or NAS drives etc which you don’t want everyone to access. I think that practically reviews everything most people want out of this router. All in all a good product and does what its purchased for.

Useless router and for further trolling the price reduced by Rs. 2000. It has severe security flaws and if you switch on all the security options given the router will slow down by 10x. Can’t make a bridge through lan to other routers as a repeater. In every couple of days you have reset the router to speed up.
Very good router from D-Link. First time I have used an D-Link router.Pros:Speed/range are very good.The range is definitely better than TP Link archer routers.Common SSID for 2.4 and 5 ghz bands. Auto-switch of the bands happens automatically when you go very far.Different Wifi Name can be configured for 5 Ghz/2.4 Ghz. I saw only it on App and not on the local website.USB port transfer speed is very good.Cons:Only I was disappointed about the UI and App which is not very intuitive like TP Link etc.So far the router is working is good.Just to clarify the 5 year McAfee protection subscription and 2 year PC antivirus subscription is provided with this router.
I’m not an expert in networkings but this, I felt, is an excellent product. I had to upgrade my old router which was dropping the speed severely. It was 150mbps b/g/n router which consistently needed reboots for working and didn’t work properly even after that. Hence I was looking for something which was sufficient for my needs, i.e. streaming 4K videos as well as connect all 10 devices in the home and 10 more which might be included in coming years.This device has all that I needed i.e. private FTP using my USB 3.0 external hard drive, mu-mimo, Gigabit wan and Gigabit lan, guest Network, VPN, etc. Plus it’s a smart device which means I can control it using Google Assistant.I’d say it’s pretty good router for 4k.
Got an update from one of D-Link fourm.In this router we have a new technology that we will be having 2.4g and 5g signal u der same ssd. Depending upon the speed it automatically switches, that causing the wifi Disconnection. If you’re using a steady network it works like a flash. And I received a new firmware update post that its look good. I like it.————Old Review————-Good product with excellent features, but my wifi is keeps on disconnecting while using it, that bugs me a lot. Any wise advice is appreciated.

Best in its price segment feels more durable and rugged than Mi 3c router although not lighter than it. Wifi range is good,connectivity is fast and wifi management is simple(configuration wise) .*Don’t buy a separate lan cable it comes with one already.

When I bought this product I wasn’t much aware of this brand as I have always used TP link and D Link previously. I ordered this brand as my internet provider asked to purchase it due to some connection issues with DLink. This is a very compact router, but trust me it has such a good connection in all my bedrooms, even outside my home I get a little lower range but not bad, I am happy for what I paid. Oh yes I forgot to mention this product was shipped from Coimbatore so till the time it reached me it took 6days exactly and also the packaging was pathetic as it was wrapped in some newspaper cover, not according to Amazon standards definitely

The 5ghz only works fine but 2.5ghz never worked good the speed of it keeps fluctuating. my 40mbps speed it reduced to 20 and then if i go a bit distance then it is reduces to 8mbps. i would say rather buy a single band branded one for this price. You might have read many reviews but believe me dont read any other reviews i am giving you the best.

Tried a couple of Gigabit routers including the TP link C1200 before this. They had the same issues – limited range and signal strength. I’ve used Tenda for almost a month and the signal strength is excellent. The signal range for both bands is better than the other Gigabit routers in this price range. I’ve not faced any signal drop yet. I’m able to get almost maximum speed for my 100 mbps connection. I’ve installed many routers in the past but this set up was the easiest I’ve experienced. It took me less than a couple of minutes from set up to getting connected. Looks-wise this is a winner. Impressive router.
The wifi signals are super strong on both channels, i highly recommend this router. Loving it. Thanks upvSalesUpdate after 3 monthsThis has started to hang with heavy usage.The system light on router stops blinking and the only solution is to restart the router.This happens daily several times under heavy downloading.I get 98mbps to my LAN connected laptop, but this frequent hang issue is very annoying.Apart from this hang issue, no other problems.You can look at the video when it hangs, the system light goes out of sync, can’t even log into the router.Normally the system light blinks at normal intervals.No service center’s in my area also. Helpless

Tried a couple of Gigabit routers including the TP link C1200 before this. They had the same issues – limited range and signal strength. I’ve used Tenda for almost a month and the signal strength is excellent. The signal range for both bands is better than the other Gigabit routers in this price range. I’ve not faced any signal drop yet. I’m able to get almost maximum speed for my 100 mbps connection. I’ve installed many routers in the past but this set up was the easiest I’ve experienced. It took me less than a couple of minutes from set up to getting connected. Looks-wise this is a winner. Impressive router.
The wifi signals are super strong on both channels, i highly recommend this router. Loving it. Thanks upvSalesUpdate after 3 monthsThis has started to hang with heavy usage.The system light on router stops blinking and the only solution is to restart the router.This happens daily several times under heavy downloading.I get 98mbps to my LAN connected laptop, but this frequent hang issue is very annoying.Apart from this hang issue, no other problems.You can look at the video when it hangs, the system light goes out of sync, can’t even log into the router.Normally the system light blinks at normal intervals.No service center’s in my area also. Helpless

Product is best And company is best but Wi-Fi signal is poor as per my house is having 1st floor because of that the Wi-Fi signal is not reach to the room. Be careful if you have not seen Specifications. Have a great day.
So this is my first router.. easy to install.. configuration is easy too.. their are many pros & cons too.PROS1) Affordable/ effective price2) easy to install and configure3) wide signal coverage (due to dual antina)CONS1) Many advance settings are not available-But for normal user it doesn’t matter2) After sale service – worst costomer support.Final Words – Many good alternatives available. Is you are tight on bugdet and normal user (not too much in networking) go for it.Give A Thums Up IF this review seems helpfulThanks :).

Best in its price segment feels more durable and rugged than Mi 3c router although not lighter than it. Wifi range is good,connectivity is fast and wifi management is simple(configuration wise) .*Don’t buy a separate lan cable it comes with one already.
When I bought this product I wasn’t much aware of this brand as I have always used TP link and D Link previously. I ordered this brand as my internet provider asked to purchase it due to some connection issues with DLink. This is a very compact router, but trust me it has such a good connection in all my bedrooms, even outside my home I get a little lower range but not bad, I am happy for what I paid. Oh yes I forgot to mention this product was shipped from Coimbatore so till the time it reached me it took 6days exactly and also the packaging was pathetic as it was wrapped in some newspaper cover, not according to Amazon standards definitely
This router change your hotspot wifi into router wifi.( If you live in village area where no WiFi facility is available then you purchase a hotspot and this router and connect your hotspot device to tend and you easy connect you dvr to tend and you now watch your cctv record at any place from your village)
