This bluetooth works only on regular calls but not on streaming apps like hangout, skype…etc. This has been confirmed by the plantronics seller that this won’t work with skype. This is ridiculous. I am going to return this.

However the talk time decreases as you use in the increments of x hours and y minutes and like a typical phone battery.Alerts me when the battery is low.Had no range issues what so ever.Delivery by amazon was excellent. They helped me fetch my product way before the scheduled arrival.I would rate the product 5 stars because i don’t have any qualms about the product and i don’t have to hold my which gets hot mildly while talking for a long time with my family of gf :)Call quality is really good. and the person on the other side mentioned that its sounded like i’m in front of her, while with the other bluetooth headset in the same price range sounded like i’m speaking from a corner of a large room.Noise cancellation is quite good again. Strictly buy from authentic seller don’t go for cheap price especially. Plantronic brandI purchased in end of Feb 2018. After three months ,Left side not working . Too bad for well reputation company . So I contacted service centre rishi peripheral (bad thing is no service centre in my area so I packed and parceled to service centre. Near to me) . They replaced with a new one . Replacement took 10 days . The left speaker of headphone stopped working after around 3 months. Claimed the warranty for the product and got it replaced with new one. The right speaker of new one stopped working after around 2 months. And later the both speakers died. Sound quality for the new one was superb as compared to the older one.
Product is really awesome but this review is not about Amazon or Plantronics Bluetooth device, this is about the seller who fools people and think he very smart selling us used and faulty products.1. Upon arrival i have observed that the inner box inside drawer was upside down. ( can be packaging issue)2. Sealed Sticker was double layered. ( i never seen in my entire life there are 2 layers of seal one on one)3. Box is not getting charged. ( Charging unit is faulty doesn’t charged even after keeping it for 3 hours connected to my PC.4. I found Bluetooth device default name is “Captain America” instead of “PLT BBFIT3100 Series”. that means this was opened and used.I want Amazon to take action on such Seller.
I bought these based on reviews here and on Wirecutter making them seem too good to be true. Well, they are. Amazing ergonomics and decent noise-cancelling at this price means a huge tradeoff somewhere. In this case, frankly bad sound quality.The good: The buds fit entirely inside your ear, making them super comfortable. The noise-cancelling feature does work well, although it creates a surprising amount of audible high-frequency white noise.The bad: Unacceptably poor sound quality for this price. Actually, I would say “bad” rather than “poor,” since they commit a sin of commission rather than mere omission. The highs were shrill and piercing, regardless of EQ setting. I couldn’t physically listen to them for very long and they were essentially unusable. These are either tuned for baby boomers who have lost most of their high-frequency hearing, or they’re not tuned at all. It’s really disappointing for Plantronics, since their (now discontinued) BackBeat Fit Bluetooth exercise headphones were much more pleasant to listen to. I have no idea how any reviewer could possibly compare this new model to a Bose product—the sound quality here isn’t even close.
A product worth more than ₹10K always requires some homework to be done. I am writing this review to ensure it helps the new buyers take a sensible decision.I am a free runner and have always been fascinated with the idea of truly wireless earbuds/earplugs. After dwelling into the world of net, I zeroed on PLT3100.Pros -1. Amazing fit2. Light on ear (doesn’t hurt the earlobe’s even if worn for a longer duration)3. You can hear your surrounding which is very important if you are a free runner and have your regular course on the main streets etc.4. One touch and tap feature ensures that you can operate it while on the runCons1. I am not sure but even after putting the buds back into the case, it gets re connected to the phone2. There’s no automatic indicator of the battery charging for the case. You got to press the button to check how much battery had been charged3. At times the ear bud behaves weird by not having clarity of sound when connected to phone and the next moment in the same position of the phone and earbud, it works normalWhatever said and done, this is a good buy. I had contemplated to buy Jabra Elite 65 active and Bose but finally bought Plantronics and I have no regrets. Its my companion in my solace.
With great expectations, I had procured one of these headsets. I felt disheartened to see at this price, even replacement ear tips were not provided. Neither was a charger provided. And worst the USB cable provided is roughly around 3 centimeters which is useless for any practical purpose. Despite all this, I hoped for decent performance and was further disappointed.First not a comfortable fit. Second, at this price and even lower, there are headsets that support connecting multiple devices ( multi-point connection feature ) which this headset lacks. There range is average and battery life is mediocre at the best. The charger cradle which is also the case, is poorly designed and flimsy and will definitely not last long.Overall, best to avoid this product and spend your money elsewhere!

I wish to share my experience on dealing with Plantronics. There are many better reviews on Pros / Cons.Took this product a year back and was a significant investment for me. I love this product and I use it asy part of life through the day. After 11 months of usage, the product stopped working. I was uncomfortable without music and also with the fact that how could a reputed company’s product go bad so soon. I immediately ordered Jabra Bluetooth from Amazon. However, at the same time I called the service centre and that’s where I wish to share my real experience:1. My call was picked in first attempt during their business hours2. The person from Plantronics assured me that they are selling a brand and aspiration to the customers and not just a product3. Person took my full details and shared the service centre details in Mumbai4. To my surprise the service centre was also friendly and without asking any questions, they replaced me with a brand new similar model or they assured to upgrade the model if the current product was not in production any more5. Immediately cancelled the Jabra Bluetooth orderAll reviews are good, however, I feel our focus can also be on the honesty of the company to serve the client. I love Plantronics and wish to make purchases from them. You have my loyalty Plantronics.

But as advertised (Three sizes of flexible silicone eartips (S, M, L)) were not provided.This is my third time i am purchasing this. Every time in a different configuration. this time only USB cable is present no charger. Earlier i got car chargers. overall a useful headset.

I like the features and programming. Does many things, almost too many things. Only drawback is the microphone with the silicone sleeve is slightly large and at first uncomfortable after many hours. That is where it went from 5 stars to 4. First unit i purchased i removed the silicone sleeve and after two years the microphone broke off. Overall… I like it and if I lost it, I would re-order

OK, not had this long so can’t comment on reliability, battery life, etc. However, 1st impressions are extremely positive. Bluetooth connected easily, sound lovely, noise cancelling great and extremely comfortable. Was on a call for over an hour and almost forgot I was wearing them. Very light with very large holes for your ears … so if you have large sticking-out ears, don’t worry, these are still comfortable. Only one point (and its not a complaint from me as I do have a large head) if you have a small head you may find them a little loose, but that mihht be adjustable. Normally I stuggle with getting things like this large enough … no worries here, these are supper comfortable. Ok … update after using it for a few days. SERIOUSLY, I’m struggling to run the battery down !!!! Eventually I just left it on the side playing and after soooo many hours I got a “Low battery warning 10% left”. That was 14 HOURS ago !!! And it is still playing PLUS I have had the Active Noise Reduction switched On all this time too. Now I’m just trying to run it down so I can give it its first FULL recharge. WOW, WOW, WOW.
Here is my review post 72 hours of usage. The Product delivers everything it describes in the description. Works very well for Music or IP calls. Build quality is on par with similar branded products from premium labels. Sound quality is terrific. Voice quality on calls is fantastic – no complaints at all, I used the product on multiple Skype calls and no complaints whatsoever. Noise cancellation worked well. Fits well on your ears and the cushion is of good quality – it is not some cheap quality cushion, no pressure on your ears. With only 3 days of usage I cannot comment on the 90 day standby time, but I have not had to charge it so far.
A good product. When you put the noise cancelling on it reduces a lot of noise and get a surround sound like feeling.

As it is my 3 pair in 7 years. I am happy that it has maintained its standards.It has all what it needs to be perfect phone companion.If someone is looking for true sound quality and, fabulous noise canceling headset, this could be the 1.

I have reviewed this before but I keep buying more for family (in different colours). This is my favourite Bluetooth headset by far and I have a plantronics 5200 as well. This is so light and inconspicuous, I regularly forget it’s in my ear. Connects fast and the call quality is brilliant.

Looks too good and also works very nice. My trusted brand Plantronics. Just one less star for price range.

This fits my Bluetooth earpiece perfectly and I can fit the charger cord in as well. The hard case protects it well and comes with a metal clip to attach it to a backpack purse or whatever.
