  1. I upgraded to this camera from D3100 & Sony HX400V.This camera is loaded with features. One of the best entry level professional camera or a great camera for amateur photographer. With my last DSLR i had 18-55 & 70-300. Having understood the difficult in changing the lens every time this time i went with 18-140 lens. The camera is light weight, handy, menu is easy to understand, connectivity to mobile is awesome. Also installed Helicon Remote app & Adobe photoshop express app in mobile which makes easy to take picture, send to your mobile, edit & upload.Lens is little heavy as I expected, but the clarity, focus response, sharpness is great.Unlike other reviews i got a good camera bag.Without any second thought you can buy this.

Worth the money. I am a beginner in terms of photography. The telephoto lens are really good and pictures taken with then are truly awesome. They give the photos kind of a depth field perception in auto mode. The camera itself has heck lot of options and having a touchscreen really helps.Piece of advice, If you are planning to buy a tripod along with this don’t buy small ones as camera with lens tends to get heavy. I bought Amazon basics tripod and it was unable to handle the weight of camera with telephoto lens attached.

Got the set 1. Camera body 2. Kit lens 18-55mm VR 3. Kit lens 70-300 mm for Rs 33.5k. The camera sensor has exceptional imaging quality. I’m new to DSLR. It has been giving a true artistic expression of reality, which even a best quality phone camera can never do. Best camera for those who while pursuing photo clicking have come to know the limitations of a phone camera. See the pictures I have taken with and enjoyThank you Jeff and Co. for trustworthy, timely and secure delivery.

Picture quality- Awesome, better purchase and see for yourself. Nikon basically is for stunning colours as the same colour vivid ness you can’t find in any of the Canon DSLRs untill and unless they are full frame models.Battery life- Avg. Usage of 2hrs every day gave the battery power running continuous for 3 days to me.Durability- Here I have to mention that as it’s a entry level DSLR. My suggestion go for it. Why? Let me explaini. The grip on this is DSLR is almost like a professional cameras. Just go to shop and physically feel the grip. You’ll love it. And do compare with other cameras also if I am no wrong.ii. And for sure I have to say it’s not weather resistant. According to me if you have 70 plus thousand rupees definitely go for weather sealed body full frame DSLRs. If not then grab this NIKON D3500 (An advanced model of 3400) released in the month of June 2018.Lastly don’t think whether to choose the entry level or professional camera. My suggestion a person should be enough patience to buy entry level first, because an entry level itself has a lots of menu options where you’ll learn a lots of things. And after the completion of every option and one think Iam a professional person then go for a full frame DSLRs which costs around 1 to 1.5 lakh. My suggestion in that case would be NIKON D500 or CANON 6D Mark II.Pls don’t go for intermediate or Mid level cameras. Go basic level learn, experiment, go to field, study, repeat daily by varying different options, like ISO aperture and shutter speed, make yourself professional and then earn a very very good camera.Thank you

With max ISO 25600 you will get a better control over low light shots, than similar beginner-level Cannon models.I chose this camera over Cannon 1500D because I heard a lot of critic reviews, and all of them were recommending Nikon. The camera has a good grip, and doesn’t much weigh, so you can easily take shots with one hand. Most people have complained about no WiFi. I haven’t missed that feature much. Because, I will not have a WiFi while taking shots outside. I can easily transfer the pictures to my computer using the SD card reader. The camera doesn’t have geo-tagging feature. But you can easily pair the SnapBridge App with the camera, and it will use phone’s location and use it for geo-tagging. I really liked it.Overall the camera is great.Things I missed:- It has a fixed display. Would have been great if it rotated.P.S. I got all the items from Amazon, the Camera body, lens, bag and a 16GB SD card.

Everything about the Z7 is amazing. I own a D5100 (which was my first SLR), D800, and D750, all of which I loved to use over the past 6 years. The Z7 hands down is the best camera I’ve ever used. I bought this camera for a trip I’m taking abroad in February 2019. I first shot it today for a wedding, utilizing the highest resolution RAW photos and 1080p video at 120 fps. Everything from the grip, to the EVF, to the sound and feel of the shutter, to the amazing object tracking on video is OUTSTANDING! I’ve used friends’ mirrorless Sony’s, Panasonic, and Leica’s, and the Z7 shames them all.I really loved the touchscreen shooting as well (basically you can touch the display and it will focus and shoot the photo where you touch on the image. Really cool feature. Like I mentioned earlier, the object tracking was really convenient in video mode to track my 2 yr old and she ran and danced around the wedding.BRAVO NIKON! Job well done! I can’t wait to shoot on my travels!

I preordered this camera the night Nikon announced it and received it 4 days after the official launch. I wouldn’t say I am a “Pro” but i have been shooting for at least 3 years. This is an excellent start for Nikon entering the mirrorless market. It obviously has it’s flaws but has so much to offer if you can look passed them. The biggest issue people have is that there is only 1 card slot. I personally don’t have an issue with this since I carry my D850 with me just in case and use the Z7 for mostly personal work/enjoyment. In low light it performs well and is surprisingly great at higher iso’s. The autofocus takes some getting used to but it is so nice to be able to have nearly the entire area to place your focus points. So goodbye focus and recompose. The EVF is very clear and nice. It is a little brighter than what your actual exposure is so thats a minor issue I have with the camera as well. Sure you can dim or brighten the EVF in the settings but it is never perfect.I did not purchase any of the new S line lenses so I use the ftz adapter with my 35mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8, and 14-24 2.8 lenses. I have not had any issues at all and have been surprised with how sharp the photos turn out with them.I could go on about this review but I don’t want to make this a novel.Overall, I think this is a fantastic camera. Obviously there can be a few improvements but for me personally, I am happy with my purchase so far. Having a few nikon lenses already, i did not have to take a loss by switching to the competitors. The camera feels good, performs great, and is weather sealed. I live in the PNW so this is important to me.I lool forward to future Z mount lenses that will be released and for what Nikon learns and improves from this!

My Z7 review: went from a D810 to a Z7 a couple weeks ago. Wow, what a sweet camera. The FTZ is great but wish it had a AF motor. 🙄 couldn’t care less about it not having 2 slots, I’m not a pro. Besides, snap bridge moves every shot to my phone automatically. 200GB backup in the phone… I’m still amazed by how much better the camera is in pretty much every way. I’m in love, and I’m usually super picky and critical of my gear. I’m hopeful there will be a new FTZ with a motor soon. Either way, this thing is AMAZING. The end.

Best dslr for beginners. Loved it…Lightweight and compact with everything the family photographer needs, the Nikon D5600 maintains its position as a great general-purpose dSLR for its price class.DSLRTaken on its own, the Nikon D5600 is a fine camera, with imaging tech that still outclasses what even the best smartphone can manage by a huge margin. That’s an important point to note for people looking for…

So I brought this for myself and a friend as we were interested in doing amateur photography. Must say this is an very good camera it might not have all the whistles and bells of the more expensive model but it takes amazing photos and is easy to use.The kit lens is rather good, I know there is slot of negative stigma about kit lens but we found it did the job and did it well. The camera itself is easy to use and user driend, you can however turn it to manual mode and this is where the magic or horror can happen. It takes awhile to get use to all the manual setting but once u do, the camera gives us more freedom then automatic. That’s not to say that it doesn’t work magically in auto mode because it does. Now the consI turn on the airplane mode when I’m not using it because it keeps Bluetooth on and I feel it drains the battery, like all DSLR cameras it can get heavy with the lens on.Yogurt_mint_photography is our Instagram if you wish to view any of the photos I’m talking about.

  95. Very nice camera. Small size compared to other DSLRs. Good deep hand grip. Good clarity in photos. Just bought 55-200mm lens as 18-55mm kit lens is good but not ideal for taking pics during school assemblies and sports days (zoom factor). Only disappointing point is the Snap Bridge app. I can automatically download photos via bluetooth but can’t connect to my phone via wifi for remote use (taking pics from phone). I have read that this is an issue until the app is updated. However, still s great camera and plan to keep it.

For a beginner, this is more than you can bargain for. It has a fairly decent f stop range for you to play around and control exposure. The best part is, it has all the requirements of a DSLR, as in i was surprised to see it has exposure metering modes as well. So when i was learning from a tutorial, whatever photography jargon they threw around i could try it on the camera. The camera itself is very light. The lens make it a little bit heavy. I found the bag to be a bit small. It doesn’t fit well with the lens on.Update – 4 months into usage and im loving it. I have clicked some 1000 photos till now and they have come out beautifully. Buy the proper lens for the scene and you’re good to go with this camera.

  236. I received the camera & lens including covers & battery. However, no camera bag, no memory card nor even the Samsung bluetooth headset sellers & Nikon India are offereing with this camera since Aug 2018!! Refer Nikon India D5600 page.In addition, Nikon India says “In reference to your query, none of the e-commerce sites are authorized by Nikon India, therefore, we cannot comment on it”.I can not even test the camera without the memory card & not risking handling it, if the item is required to be returned due to the issues mentioned above!!

  254. PROS-Exceptional picture quality.-Nikon’s colour science.-Great Low light performance.-Battery life.-Flipout LCD.-Great for filmmaking.-Small size.CONS-Auto focus in video is disappointing.-No in body stabilisation.*Pictures are shot with 85mm 1.8G, 85mm 1.4G and kit and are edited.

Worth the money. I am a beginner in terms of photography. The telephoto lens are really good and pictures taken with then are truly awesome. They give the photos kind of a depth field perception in auto mode.
