The product works like a charm. No issues whatsoever, the video signal comes out crisp at the other end just like it supposed to. I read the reviews and saw that that many people were giving this product bad ratings just because of their own lack of knowledge. One of the things I noticed was people complaining about sound issues. The main thing to note is that VGA is a display only standard and does not support audio. It is to be used to transmit signals from a device (laptop,desktop,graphics card) to a display (VGA monitor or projector), it simply won’t work if installed to transmit data in the reverse direction.It works like a charm on my lenovo laptop and I primarily use it to connect my laptop to my monitor @ home and the projector @ college.The product is build well for how much it costs. It’s build quality is on par with similar modules from dell and acer which cost thrice as much.

I have used this product for long time. Product build looks like high quality but when I started using clarity was slightly lacking and now after usage for few months sometime picture have turbulence or sound stops or different error comes. Always check product when you receive, if you find any error return it immediately. I should have done that.

Product doesn’t work with Apple systems ! It does work with Windows laptops but I won’t recommend it for its compatibility, I am now using an adapter that works with both windows and apple systems.

I have an old Dell monitor with only a VGA port and I wanted to use my new build PC with it which has Zotac 1030 graphic card. I bought this converter and it’s working fine.Quality is decent for the price.

People have been complaining about sound and I understood the issue after using the adapter. As its HDMI, the laptop connects in movie mode and also disables the sound of the source i.e. laptop. This is a problem for me.Build of the adapter is not great. The cover came out with little pressure.Go for it if you only want to connect a monitor as an extended display.

A great cable at this price range. I was not very sure before buying as many options are available at Amazon with different prices. I am glad that I choose this one. The best thing I liked is the Sound quality improvement. Same piece of Audio once I played directly from my Laptop to Sound box and then I used this HDMI cable from Laptop to TV and I plugged the Sound box’s 3.5mm jack with TV. Amazingly the Sound was more nicer, Smoother and Clear. I did not check for Gaming, My intention was to watch movies from Laptop to TV. Must buy for the people with same intention.

I bought it to connect my HP laptop hdmi to (30k worth) projector., upon connecting it the picture quality is ridiculously bad. No matter how many different settings I tried the display is horrible.I don’t know how this product got so many positive reviews. For the first time I felt cheated by the reviews.I don’t recommend it.

It does not detect the signal of most of the HDMI devices only for PC & Laptop it works fine. I had given new order to another company, because I dont want protocol to return or repair for such a small product. So, everyone should be careful with the advertisement of this product.

I purchased this to get an extra monitor at work running with my new Dell laptop computer. The monitor had worked fine with my previous laptop via the VGA connection, but wouldn’t with the new one via their HDMI ports. (The new one doesn’t have a VGA port.) I bought this converter cable, plugged it into my laptop’s HDMI port, and it was back to business. So far, it works perfectly. I haven’t owned it long, but if there are any changes I’ll be sure to post an update.

So there i was, playing virtual reality games when i had to execute some movements where i have to sway, side step, turn and all other such movements where i have to tug on the cables a bit more than what the cable could provide. Almost pulled the system down a few times which made me rethink my options. 12 feet is kinda short for a vr cable for me, it might be different for other people, it depends on the orientation of one’s setup.So i looked up on how i could extend my cables. There were some helpful guides by some youtubers which i tried. Got another 12 feet long usb and an hdmi cable along with an hdmi coupler which was recommended on youtube. I also ordered a nylon braided cover for the cables.After the items arrived, i set up the cables as instructed and booted up my system. Lo and behold! It failed miserably! I was able to get glimpses of output on my headset which was blacking out all the time with about a sexond of output everytime. I testes the cables individually but worked normally as i did. I was really disappointed about the whole setup which made me lose my motivation at vr for sometime.Fast forward to a month, while looking for a monitor mount from amazon basics i found an hdmi coupler which kinds sparkes a new hope in me. I did look around for other options but then it dawned on me that the hdmi coupler might’ve been the problem since the cables worked perfectly when testing on my monitor.So i ordered the amazon basics hdmi coupler with a hope that it just might solve my problem. Though i wasn’t really enthusiastic like i was before.On the day it arrived, i opened up the box and there it was. It was small, not too flashy, petite and elegantly snug in the box with amazonbasics etched on the side.Though i wasn’t that ecstatic about it but i pulled up the cables and started putting them together. Installed the software and ran the program.This was the moment of truth! I sighed. Put up the headset and waited for that light to come up which would show me the horizon of the vr world. And it did. No blackouts, no erratic blinky lights, just the far horizon of virtual reality and the gridlines.If it works for a vr system, it will work for any monitor…well… depends on the type though, anything below 4k would work i reckon. Haven’t tried anything higher, so i wouldn’t know. Maybe someday i might. If it so happens, i’ll be sure to update this feedback.

Product is amazing and performs the function as advertised.At first the connector is a bit tough/hard but after a few uses it gets smooth and easy to use. Product is super sturdy and compact, hence it is easy to carry around. The packaging is a bit too much however. Recommended for sure.
