Additionally I got HDFC credit card cashback of Rs. 4000/-.Phone is excellent in all respect except battery life. I could run battery for one full day only when power saver was kept on continuously. Then display is changed from QHD + to HD+, always on display is not running etc.. So you’ve to compromise.

Display is best available in this planet right now. Camera may be too. Dolby Atmos works like a charm. Headphones are of top notch. Go for it if you have an iphone budget for an android.Amazon Transportation Services i guess is the worst in this planet. . First when i called he mentioned that my office is closed due to Saturday. But u fortunately he forgot that it’s a bank and it remains open. He was caught in his play. Then The delivery guy postponed my delivery only because he needs to take a U turn on the highway to reach my office. Then he stopped picking my calls. Then one of my femal colleague called and he came for delivery. Sad state of affairs at Amazon Transportation Services. Also the delivery agent number couldn’t be reached because they are equipped with JIO phones. That adds to the agony.During last order too the delivery guy canceled my order saying my address isn’t traceable. Sadly my address itself is a landmark in that area. I escalated to Amazon and they did it again.If possible avoid Amazon. They create depression instead of happiness.

I purchased this during the Great Indian Festival Sale in Oct 2018 for 42k (with SBI discount and 0% EMI for 9 months).After a great deal of comparison and analysis on many phones, I decided to buy Samsung Galaxy Note 8 purely based on the comparable features against iPhone X. Moving out of iPhone was not an easy decision. However, I wanted to break out of the dependency. Having used Note 8 for 2-3 weeks, I now have mixed feelings towards – whether I should’ve stayed with iPhone or moving out of iPhone was for good. Anyways, here I am, using the 42k mobile.Pros:* Has great many features: good low-light photography (user must learn to take pictures turning off the Auto-mode to take better pictures), lot of productivity and fun tools generally as well as with the S-pen.* Good display but some commonly used apps like HDFC Netbanking and few other apps display the images/edges in a blurred way. iPhone was way better at this. This leaves your phone displaying contents on your screen only to some extent even with the highest resolution (3 modes available).* Lets you import all the data (contacts, pictures, compatible apps and most of your old phone whichever it is (even iPhone). This helped me set this phone so fast that I literally started using the phone immediately after I received.* Fast charging works well (as I was an iPhone user, this is new to me and definitely reduced the time I need to stay away from my phone while charging it).* The battery stays charged reasonably well (loses about 30% charge in 6 hours of normal usage with 4G connectivity in Power-saving mode, about 50% while in normal mode without power-saving ON).* Doesn’t get heated up while using or charging.* Large screen display is good and when uncomfortable, it has a feature to turn on ONE HAND mode by swiping up diagonally across the screen (can be changed to 3-tap of Home button).* Great Bluetooth connectivity and 3.5 mm jack for Aux cable (audio).* Samsung Pay lets you add your credit/debit cards and some wallets and lets you use it even while you don’t carry your physical card. This is an amazing feature that’s brilliant enough to give you freedom from wallets during some walks of the day.* Samsung Health app lets you measure Heart Rate, Stress, etc using the sensor near the rear camera. You will get some insightful readings and take care of your daily health.Cons:* Most important precaution to be taken if you decide to buy this phone is you should be ready with a screen protection workaround as you take it out of the box. They say it is Gorilla glass but my phone took a visible scratch on the screen within 30 minutes out of the box while importing data from my iPhone, definitely without any rough usage. It won’t withstand any casual handling. You MUST take care of the display very much. This was not the case with iPhone.* Speaker is very very poor. Even the ear phone will not let me hear the audio properly even with 100% volume. This is the most disappointing thing in this phone.* Selfie camera did not work well in low-light. So, don’t expect to have the same performance that the rear camera provides in low-light.* To add to this list is, Face recognition is pathetic and even the phone’s Security settings does not recommend it.* Fingerprint sensor at the back is really annoying, especially when the Face Recognition isn’t up to the mark. If you have used iPhone models (upto 8 Plus), you will be experiencing huge discomfort having to unlock your phone lifting it and keeping your finger at the back, near the camera. Be mindful, if you keep touching the rear camera’s lens, it will also eventually get scratches.* There’s a dedicated button below the volume buttons which is for Bixby – Samsung’s equivalent of Siri/Alexa. I haven’t used it yet but if there’s an option to assign this button for launching something else, it may be useful for the people who don’t need to use Bixby.* The Android apps get updated almost on a daily basis – not sure what keeps changing. This was not the scenario in iOS.* Note 8 has 6 GB RAM but keeps showing only 2.5-3 GB is free at any point in time during the day. And, when certain apps are open, the free RAM drops to 1.1-1.5 GB. This keeps me wondering what will happen if I start using games.Some words to consider:If you are an iPhone user right now and are looking for changing your phone, better stick with iPhone. Trust me – the price is definitely justifiable to a great extent even if not 100% convincing. However, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 definitely has some great productivity features and is a good purchase except when you are already in love with an iPhone, whichever model it is.Will update if I feel like adding some points later.

Got the phone on time (7th March 19 morning) and was very happy with your early delivery. The 1st impression was amazing and the smart switch option was very convenient to transfer the content from my previous Galaxy to this new amazing S10 plus. However after the software updated ,there was a technical glitch. The entire screen went into a black-and-white screen and it was not possible to reverse it with the regular settings. Had to reset the phone with factory reset. This entire process took 4 to 5 hours and this was a bitter experience. Hope this problem does not arise after sometime again and it was just a software glitch.I have always been a Samsung fan and have possessed the galaxy phones from the Note 2 times.This experience was a bit unnerving but keeping my fingers crossed and hope to have an amazing experience going forward.

My previous phonesGalaxy fitXperia neo vXperia z1 compactIphone 11 pro.As you can see i love small form factor, after years of waiting for another xperia compact phone, i got to know that xperia is withdrawing from India, after that i started waiting for pixel 4 and same thing happened again. Being frustrated i searched for smaller phones available in the market and to my surprise now people consider a 6inch device portable. The closet thing to “portable” was pixel 4 and 11 pro. Don’t get me wrong they are not smaller at all either.So, i’m the person who never liked iphone and never recommended it to anyone. But one bad night i pushed that buy now button and now my life is living hell, it now feels like i’m in early 2000s.Now let’s start my horrible 1 month journey with iphone.First i opened the box, and lifted the phone it felt like a premium brick. Now excited as hell for my first iphone, booted it up went through same configuration, entered the page where they ask for wifi password entered it, oops i entered the wrong password. Now the phone kept trying to connect it to the wifi like it magically going to correct the password. Now there is no way to go ahead, the only thing to do is restart the phone.After successfully setting up the phone, the first thing you notice is yellowish weird screen.Every thing is in yellow tint, i have to setup the colour gradient in settings.First thing that easily available on any phone to test display and audio(flac is the best thing to test audio) is youtube. I fired the youtube with some uhd hdr content and display is gorgeous and so are the stereo speakers. But still display was lacking some clarity, so i jumped straight to the quality setting and the max resolution it can support is 1080p hdr because ios doesn’t support uhd codec of youtube.Display:3/5 (true tone gives yellowish tint)Stereo speakers:5/5Software/codecs:0/5Now to test true audio quality, i tried to load my flac collection in to my phone, which is in itself a big task. Music app provided by iphone doesn’t support flac. Now i’ve to go to the app store to find a decent music player because 1 lakh is not a good amount for a company to bundle a music player, most of the music player available on store are paid, i mean, i’ve just paid more than a lakh rs and now i’ve to buy a music player and that to is subscription based 3000 rs per year just to play music. I mean i can get a tidal subscription and get flac master audio for some more amount. After lots of search i found hs player which was free, now i loaded my flac collection to the app using itunes.Testing wired audio, wait they have not included dongle with this phone. Bought the dongle for 800 rs. Audio quality was not at all good not balanced at all it was all bass, after that i started searching for equalizer in phone setting but the equalizer is just for music app not a global equalizer like the one included in xperia phones. But the hs music player included one which works great it has ten band equalizer. Now the audio is some what acceptable atleast for this music player.Now i am going to test my play music subscription for wired audio, sadly it has no equalizer and sounded crappy.Now since it has no equalizer i connected my sony 1000xm3s to them,cause they have equalizer. Apple has the guts to remove 3.5mm jack but they failed to include ldac support or any other codec to it. It still has old aac codec. I someone tells you it is efficient slap them as hard as you can. They made my 30k headphones sound like boat or beats like headphone.Next thing they have only 15 level volume steps, which are either too loud or too soft at-least they should have given 30 level.Audio software:0/5Codecs:0/5Overall:0:5Now let’s talk about battery, since i am a moderate user it last for me around three days with full charge. Believe me, if you leave your phone at 100% at night you will get 100% in morning, stand by time is godly. Heavy use is also good i get at-least 6hr sot.Battery 10/5(better than any android phone)Camera is okish but nothing that all american reviewers brag about. Colours are not natural as one can see from skin tone, portrait mode works ok but not at all precise. Night mode is just a gimmick with unacceptable colour and noise. Astro-photography is also not that good sky colour is not natural and other things you take in also gets different colour like a red wall gets an orange colour, there were stars where there is no star, after taking some star photos i found out normal photos also has star in them, may be the are fooling people with astro photography. Ultrawide camera has fish eye effect.Unable to take long exposure light streak photo, you have to buy a separate app for that. But that’s not good as 16k moto g4 can do that. One more thing apple used heic extension for their photo, which is not supported by android as of now. So sharing them might be a problem.Video is good, with audio zooming 4k at 60 fps, but what bugs me is 1080 p at only 240fps. They should have at-least given 960fps. Most of the apps slutters a lot, if you scroll app it feels like when you are playing crisis ( a demanding game) on a low budget gpu. Solution is lock and unlock phone to get performance.Most of the apps are not designed for notch, logout and battery icon gets inside each other. No movie and netflix show are designed for this aspect ratio, if you zoom in heads of actors get cropped out, show full screen phones are just to distract people from the fact that nothing new is happening in market right now, they just want people to keep looking for bigger screen and camera.Gesture control is also in efficient, some apps put you in situations where you can get out using gestures. For example in WhatsApp if you by some chance open keyboard and rate now option pops-up same time there is no going back you have to close the app.Siri is just useless, but all of us know that. It tried many a days to send the same message to my dad and it never learnt that, while google assistant on my android phone did that in second try, Apple should integrate it to their phone.As i have accustomed to google apps, none of the google apps works as they should, chrome hangs down as soon you open a web page with lots of photo and video and scrolling takes a toll. Normal function like save to pdf is not available, youtube doesn’t support more than fhd. Cast on youtube works but not on photos app. Most of the apps on app store are buggy and are just hungry for money. You can see the number of rating for app, you can conclude from that the Apple user base are just using this phone for social media and making calls.Screen mirroring doesn’t work you have to buy an app to do that. Default file manager doesn’t support smb and ftp you have to get smb2 supporting router for your nas drive.Air drop is really good and fast, face id works most of the time. I’ve to disable attention feature to make it work.If you are coming from android even low budget android and have used android to its fullest you are going to hate this phone, there is no freedom here. It is like Pakistan(apple) and India. I’m stuck in this jail for at least five years. May god help other make wise decision in their life.Gps is also not accurate i don’t how apple can ruin it but they did.Itunes is another level of software made by apple engineers sitting on a stroller wearing diapers. They don’t even give an option to change backup location adding music and video is really difficult. Wireless connection is really unstable and useless. ***FLAGSHIP KILLER***. I am a regular samsung user. I have used S active, S2, Note 4, Nexus 6, S7 edge. S7 Edge was the best at that time. After 2 years of heavy usage my s7 edge started to drain too quickly hence i thought of upgrading to s9 i heard that it’s is having battery issues too. Hence i thought of s9 plus. But my s7 edge was fetching 9200 only. I was too sad at that point of time and decided to live with it. But Amazon had other plans for me. GREAT INDIAN SHOPPING FESTIVAL in exchange i got 19700 for my s7 edge. And I have ordered s9 plus lilac purple 64gb version for 39k. Trust me less than 24hrs my order got delivered. It came from BLR to HYD in 16hrs.About the Mobile:Killer looks. Premium feel everywhere. Thanks to Samsung for not ditching 3.5mm. The AKG tuned headset gives life like sounds when we enable Dolby atoms in mobile. The dual speakers delivery surprisingly very good quality of sound. Samsung is branding this mobile for its camera but I am not impressed much with it. Pixel XL gives less saturated images compared with s9 plus. SUPERAMOLED 2K display gives life like colors. call quality is good with VoLTE Airtel. Network speeds are much better now. This phone is at the time being sold at 57900 INR (before exchange discount) on flipkart.As you can understand, this deal was an absolute bargain and while I was not intending to purchase a mobile as I had recently purchased one, but I simply couldn’t resist from buying the latest flagship at 50% off!I had some reservations regarding the steep discounts and the fact that this phone had only about 30 ratings here did not help, but I took a leap of faith and boy, did it pay off so well!I am not going to dwell into the many amazing pros it has, for you can simply check out hundreds of review videos out there on YouTube. The only drawback I noticed was the sub par battery life, as it seems to run out of juice in around 11 hours. It helps that it comes with fast charging, that fully charges the phone in around 100 mins.However, I cannot stress enough as to how happy and satisfied I am with this phone, even more so considering I bought it at 50% off!

It came from BLR to HYD in 16hrs.About the Mobile:Killer looks. Premium feel everywhere. Thanks to Samsung for not ditching 3.5mm. The AKG tuned headset gives life like sounds when we enable Dolby atoms in mobile. The dual speakers delivery surprisingly very good quality of sound. Samsung is branding this mobile for its camera but I am not impressed much with it. Pixel XL gives less saturated images compared with s9 plus. SUPERAMOLED 2K display gives life like colors. call quality is good with VoLTE Airtel. Network speeds are much better now. After reading a lot of geeky reviews on YouTube and portals, I bought Oneplus7t. Pls, note I have been using OnePlus from last many years now so my expectations were clear. My experience with the device says that most of the reviews or unboxing things are influenced. Pls, note I have bought it with my own money unlike leading reviewers or unboxing video geeks who get it for free. So pls don’t go by them blindly. Go for users reviews who bought them with their own money. So I am writing my 5 days experience with the phone.I am not a gamer or a geek. A regular user who wants to do all the office work on the phone, social media, blogging and vlogging, etc.The last OnePlus phone I was using was Oneplus 5 and was quite happy with it until it screen got broken and replacement cost was higher than the selling price of the device itself.The day it arrived from Amazon I opened it with a lot of excitement which continued till I have held it in my hands.Here are the issues:1. Weight: It weighed too much I felt like holding a brick. And it is thick. When I hold it in one hand for a few minutes I get a deep red pit in my hand (due to blood circulation).2. Camera: Then I had to go for a conference there I tried clicking pictures. Picture quality did not come out well. Still, I thought it may be light or background because of my previous experiences I could not believe it to be not good. So I continued clicking pictures which really missed detailing. As you zoom in it will make it blurred. I have clicked a magazine cover picture with my Oneplus 5 which had only 16 MP camera but pic quality was natural and good. It clicks blur pics may it has to do with image Stabilization.3. Battery: Battery is avg. All those time I teased my iPhone or Samsung Series colleagues and friends for their battery life. Welcome to the league. This offers an avg battery life. I never carried a charger with me in previous models if I Start with 90% even after two years. But here I have to carry it even for the average usage. I m wondering what would be this phone battery life in a year or more.4. 90 Hz refresh rate is a gimmick to sell this device. It will give you fluid experience but the soon it consumes battery you will always prefer to keep it to 60hz which is an option given in the display settings. If you always stick to a desk or have a power source around you can keep it to 90hz. Not for people who are on the move most of the time. Don’t fall for it.5. Sound: It’s average. Phone calls are not crisp and clear. At times the caller’s voice gets hazy and husky. Voice is even audible to person the person sitting next to me. Even on lower volumes. Speakers volume is loud but the sound quality is not good.6. No premium-feeling anymore. With multiple variants, it has joined the league of Samsung, Mi, Oppo, Vivo. Now they are launching 7t pro on Oct 10 again it is a disappointment for those who bought 7t on day 1. Maybe their R&D or trials have some problem here that in every two months they are launching a new device with an update to the previous faults. Like OnePlus 7 has voice receiver on one side which is right. So if you take calls or hear the phone from left you won’t get a clear voice or volume. So they added receivers on both the side in this device.I am still not getting why I have spent Rs 40,000 on it. No camera quality, no battery life, no sound quality on calls, getting wounds on holding it for long.I have always recommended OnePlus devices to everyone around and had high hopes and trust on the brand that I bought it on the day of the launch but with this experience, I won’t recommend OnePlus 7t to my colleagues and friends who are planning to upgrade their devices.

I recently purchased the S9 Plus(Coral Blue) and it wasn’t even in my wishlist before few days,I was willing to buy the One Plus 6T but felt disappointed with the overall device,so decided to go for S9 Plus and got it for 41K after all offers and exchangesDisplay : One of the best hands down,I have compared it with One Plus 6T and Iphone XS Max and it is better than both,plus those curves make the device look just so beautiful no complaints here.Built : Same as the S8 Plus,but still overall it looks like a really expensive device and yes it it,so justifies the price,has glass at the back so happy with the built, Coral Blue looks beautiful.Battery : This is the only area I am disappointed,just 3500 mah battery capacity and it drains pretty quickly on games like PUBG,Asphalt 9, and earlier I was using Dash Charge so I am addicted to those high speeds,but S9 Plus just supports QC 2.0 so charging feels really slow and it takes about just over 1 hr 40 mins to completely charge the phone from 0 to 100%,Samsung should have atleast included QC 3.0.Cameras : Lots and Lots of modes are provided to enhance the camera performance like portrait ,pro mode, selfie focus, food and many more,plus they have added AR Emoji that is replica of Animoji from Apple,but it is really bad,all people look like same character,they should improve it,the cameras have another feature,on taking any potrait shot on rear camera you can adjust the background blur even after taking the picture and you can also change the same picture to wide angle shot.Low light performance is great and the variable aperture acts as a useful feature,not just a gimmick,Super Slow Mo is cool to have but limited to just few seconds, video recording is Ok but colors little over saturated(I personally like it this way)Performance : Indian variant comes with Xynos 9810 SOC and Mali Processor,as such Mali is not considered good for gaming but ,For gaming I have played PUBG and Asphalt 9 and both work super smooth,I play PUBG on HDR(Ultra) and yes it works fine, but the phone tends to heat after few minutes of game play, I guess it is normal for any phone to heat with those high graphic settings, and in case of applications it is quick to open almost all applications and haven’t faced any lags till now.UI/Software : Yes it is not as stock or Oxygen but still after using Oxygen OS before, I am even happy using Samsung Experience 9.0, it has few flaunting features like the Edge Lighting,Dolby Atmos Audio,great gestures,and much moreAudio : Having stereo speakers,it is on of the best sound I have heard on any Smartphone,and the sound output through the headphone jack is amazing and on enabling Dolby Atmos you’ll really find a good difference in sound(I use it with Poweramp and Amazon Music).Security : You can unlock your phone in 4 ways :Iris : Slow but accurateFace : Really FastFingerprint at the back : Again it’s super fastFace+Iris : Slow but really secureAndroid Updates : When I got the phone it was on October Security Patch Update so means Samsung is providing updates,but still no sign of Android Pie,maybe it’ll come near by the launch of Galaxy S10.Overall : I got this phone at 41K and I am really happy with overall device,leaving aside the battery everything is premium and that display alone is a reason to show off with the edge lighting on for Notifications,Camera’s are excellent,Audio is amazing and Samsung UI has tons of small features that any one would love to have.Note : I gave the device 5 stars earlier but After using it for 20 days I have got scratches on the display,I don’t know how,gorilla glass 5 on device really looks fragile,using it with proper flip cover and all,now Samsung and Amazon are not helping and putting the blame on one another,so I am disappointed with my purchase 🙁

Don’t buy this phone if you don’t want yourself stuck with charger ND phone permanently. Doesn’t matter how much apps you have in your phone, battery will drain rapidly. Just google “s9+ battery problem” and save yourself from the hassles of life. And low light is pathetic in front camera,

I bought Samsung s9 plus 64gb N 29 TH OCT from seller APPARIO RETAIL PRIVATE LTD.Cell was delivered on time but after installing the sim when started the cell found out the bottom touch sensor srcreen( Back ,home and multitasking touch area ) not operational .How come new brand cell worth 64500 is defective .Had no quality checks been done prior delivery done by the seller ????Are these people selling defective handset ??????

The only drawback I noticed was the sub par battery life, as it seems to run out of juice in around 11 hours. It helps that it comes with fast charging, that fully charges the phone in around 100 mins.However, I cannot stress enough as to how happy and satisfied I am with this phone, even more so considering I bought it at 50% off!

Don’t even compare Samsung galaxy S9 plus with one plus 6 or 6T…As it comes with many more great features which you will not be able find in One plus 6 or 6T..Speaking from pros :Excellent QUAD HD+ screen where you can adjust your screen resolution in Quad HD+ or FHD+ OR HD2.Viewing angles on Super Amoled Screen that too with Edge screen ..you will love it for damn sure3. Camera is the main reason for which you gonna like this device..Its dual aperture allows you to shoot in many modes and best for low lighting conditions with 1.5/ aperture.4. Performing wise its all good no lags till now ..Its been on my hands for almost 16hrs a day . Yet I didn’t notice any lag till now with heavy gaming and Internet.5. Sound quality is superb with 2 speakers…DTS works great when you are on earphones as well as on speaker..6.Fast charging.. That’s common in Samsung galaxy mobilesCons :1. Battery doesn’t end up a day !!!2.
