Works but couldn’t put it to good use. Was able to extend display to a monitor via Laptop. Duplicate display didn’t cover entire screen but extended does. People have been complaining about sound and I understood the issue after using the adapter. As its HDMI, the laptop connects in movie mode and also disables the sound of the source i.e. laptop. This is a problem for me.Build of the adapter is not great. The cover came out with little pressure.Go for it if you only want to connect a monitor as an extended display.

Beware this product has not power inlets, so it pulls power from the devices where it is connected. I was using it to connect my raspberry pi to monitor and it blew up the HDMI port on raspberry. When I connect my laptop to monitor it works fine..No issue there.the picture quality is fine too. Just be careful not to connect it to low powered devices.

Well , I connected my PC to my MI TV 4a and it works pretty well and fast , but the picture quality is little low which is very obvious because of conversion from VGA to HDMI…..However this works for me…., it’s a good option but price should be kept little low……Then You can go for it blindly.Note : It converts VGA source to HDMI but not vice versa , hence the source of video must be VGA…..Will update about its durability soon …

in the package it shows 1080p resolution. but its working upto 1920 in my external monitor. cant able to get full resolution when my monitor lid is not closed. very decent product if you are going to use external monitor most of the times + if you dont mind if the laptop is closed.

It was pretty much as advertised, I have been using this for a few months now and it’s lasted longer than I was expecting. I later on bought another HDMI cable from the same company for my other TV. The newer one is only a little more expensive but much longer in comparison. If space is not a constraint go for the other one. If you are sure you don’t need a long cable this is perfectly fine. Product doesn’t work with Apple systems ! It does work with Windows laptops but I won’t recommend it for its compatibility, I am now using an adapter that works with both windows and apple systems.

Product build quality was below average. Inner parts was completely came out after first use.Not able to connect properly with laptop HDMI port.It was completely loose in connectivity. Replaced this product with new one hopefully it will work.

Works great for the first 15 minutes or so, then it starts to flicker both my Mac and the other screen as well, then it’s useless.

This adapter does not work. Tried shutting of the screen a couple of times removing that after trying to put again tried everything possible this adapter does not work

Coming from someone who as bought other Terabyte products this goes to say that they make good low cost products.It works great! Just as its meant to. I am very happy with my purchase so let that be an assurance.

ordered this for my karaoke gigs .. the first one never worked.. so i thought it might be a bad unit .. so went for a replacement .. however the replacement product didnt last for more than 2 weeks too .. it selectively works .. but not with all the projectors .. and it flickers goes off and on .. i thought it might be my laptop that is causing the issue .. but other cable worked fine! so spend a little bit more and go for a better reliability than wasting your more for this one! i would not recommend this product!

Hi I ordered this because it was cheap and I really don’t have to do any heavy-duty thing so I’ve ordered it.But the main reason for ordering was its length which seems fine to me.But when it came to me it looks a bit shortned to me then I tried measuring I got to know that the seller is cheating on us as measuments shown are wrong.This a pure case of making customer fool. No matter how many different settings I tried the display is horrible.I don’t know how this product got so many positive reviews. For the first time I felt cheated by the reviews.I don’t recommend it.

It is really plug-n-play. Works perfectly. I required it for connecting my Laptop to an External Projector with VGA port and my laptop had only one HDMI out.This was my product of choice. Replicated my desktop display in 16:9 at 1366:768.

These Amazon Basics hardware gels well with each other, but not with other cables.I already have multiple 25 feet HDMI cables, however, the required length was ~40 feet. So this cheap product has come the rescue, for now.A word of caution though: My PS4 pro could not transfer a 4K/UHD signal via these long cables, despite the cables assurity of the capability.A quick investigation has confirmed that for very long distances (50 feet and beyond), copper-based HDMI cables cannot handle 4K@60HZ. That requires a fibre-based HDMI cable which is very expensive.

Used this to allow my laptop to support two external monitors with following set-up:1) monitor > HDMI cable > HDMI port in laptop2) monitor > HDMI cable > this adapter > Mini Display Port in laptopI was frustrated with WiFi connectivity issues for months. Slow speeds, weak signal, sometimes no connection. Found out this adapter is not shielded properly and is interfering with the signal.Buyer beware…

Amazon delivery was on point. I took this product for my PS4 to connect to a VGA monitor. In the product page it says it supports HDCP but it doesn’t. I took this pricy product for only tht information.Now I had to go to a friend’s house use his HDMI tv to disable HDCP option and than use this product in the VGA monitor.. Since HDCP won’t work I will not be able to stream Netflix, Amazon or YouTube… A let down for such a high price.. If I wanted a product like this I would have gone for cheap Chinese duplicate they do the same for less than half the price.

I bought this converter cable, plugged it into my laptop’s HDMI port, and it was back to business. So far, it works perfectly. I haven’t owned it long, but if there are any changes I’ll be sure to post an update.

Amazon delivery was on point. I took this product for my PS4 to connect to a VGA monitor. In the product page it says it supports HDCP but it doesn’t. I took this pricy product for only tht information.Now I had to go to a friend’s house use his HDMI tv to disable HDCP option and than use this product in the VGA monitor.. Since HDCP won’t work I will not be able to stream Netflix, Amazon or YouTube… A let down for such a high price.. If I wanted a product like this I would have gone for cheap Chinese duplicate they do the same for less than half the price.

Did not work with the monitor / desktop I have.
