You can connect the lightening cable and connect to Mac and it’s ready, no need to go for Bluetooth activation (although you can go the traditional way). Mine came with 98% charge so I can say how long it takes to charge up. All gestures are as in previous generation. Only main difference is in the back panel; you get a black Apple logo and the lighting port; no more removable back cover for battery replacement. It’s around 80 USD in US so around 5500 INR but costs are higher here compared to US. You can think of getting the Magic Trackpad 2; instead of this if you wish to spend a little more; I have heard it’s got the force clicking; also it’s 130 USD and prices in India are comparable; so you are not paying unnecessary extra money.

Light weight and very easy to use. Entire mouse is a button. Just configure / setup once paired. during setup, it shows demo on how to use. No clicking sound and battery seems to last 2 months with normal usage. If running out of charge, just 2 min of charge should give you 9 hrs of life. Am using it for MBP 2017 15″ Laptop. Go for it. Expensive but worth investing.

Good mouse with a touch surface but a bit small for large hands. Nice built quality and compact if thats what you are looking for.

This is a superbly designed, small mouse. It replaces my Apple Magic Mouse, which was fine when new, but the reliability over time was terrible. The Apple Mouse first stopped tracking effectively on non-pad surfaces, then exhibited terrible pointer lag. I have had to replace several, so my first suggestion is to avoid the Apple mouse. The Logitech is an outstanding replacement. Very good ergonomics. It cups perfectly in the palm and the front width perfectly fits the three middle fingers for left, middle and right clicking. Pairing was just as simple as with the Apple Mouse. (Download the Logitech software) And the software offers multiple custom options with the same visual assist as the Apple mouse software. There are also two Bluetooth channels, so the mouse can be paired easily with two different computers. Build quality is much better than the Apple mouse. For general computer work and photographic post-processing, it’s a delight. I personally don’t think that hand size is a consideration, as mentioned by one reviewer. The size is also ideal for travel. I highly recommend this mouse. Apple blew it; Logitech got it right.

Can’t beta the price, for a wireless bluetooth mouse that will allow one almost full use of all the Apple swipe commands! It even sort of looks like an apple mouse. Set up was extreme easy, and contrary to what the little information booklet it comes with said, there is no software download required. Its nice and portable, and can be used for more than one Mac at the flip of a switch! 🙂 The main points of concern are; unlike an apple mouse, unfortunately not all the gesture functions can be used with this mouse, an the sipes are somewhat different than what the Apple ouse, and trackpad use. This isn’t really a draw back, bit is something worth mentioning; For someone with small hands the mouse would be perfect fit, and would lily be very comfortable to use, however someone with large hands *cough, cough, me…* it’s a little acquired to use, and fit into one’s hand, which consequentially can leave one’s hand feeling quite fatigued after a night of doing homework with it :P. 🙂

Pros:Big size makes it even more comfortable than the trackpad on Macbook. It just works – always – no connection issues.Exactly of the same height, angle and width as the Magic Keyboard – they look good together!Cons:I feel it is slightly less sensitive than the trackpad on macbook.Battery backup could have been better: I have Magic keyboard too and this is how the backups compare (Maybe because trackpad is used more than the keyboard):Keyboard and Trackpad were charged full once (about a month ago I guess) and this is where they stand today:Keyboard: 75% chargeTrackpad: Already charged fully once more after full discharge and now at 66%

My first track pad was in 2014 this is my 3rd track pad.The 1st two pad had a bauble of rubber at the back. Which annoyingly used to slip out and we had to reinsert it using a safety pin. (Pic attached ref from google)But now they have rectified this and it works perfectly fine. Its sleeker, a bit broader. Theo KY con is it’s quite expensive but which apple product is not. After using trackpad you wouldn’t want the Magic Mouse. Pad is quite handy. So if you don’t mind the price. It’s a good buy. If kept safely this comes for a long time.

Not a fan of Magic Mouse always used macbook and used to the trackpad and gestures bought the iMac 2017 and had a difficult time with mouse loved this huge trackpad all my problems solved. Thank you

Excellent keyboard. Have been using it for about 2 months now. Constant use. Good scissor action on the keys. Battery life is phenomenal. No connectivity/range issues. Apple could have made this a backlit keyboard which is the only shortcoming of the product in my opinion. Delivery experience from Amazon was also good.

I had tried a cheap Bluetooth keyboard with my MacBook Air before buying this. So, after 2 days of using the cheap Bluetooth keyboard, it was skipping keys while typing. By the way, I was using it for coding and given the number of key skips; it was unusable for me.Since I work on the MacBook Air a lot and code for long hours, I thought it was justified for the investment and I made the purchase. The battery life is insane. I don’t turn off the keyboard, yet it is at 50% after 45 days of use on the initial charge.Worth the purchase if you are going to use the keyboard a lot.

Great bluetooth KB. Obviously, great design. It connects well with even iPad Mini 4 (and obviously with iMac) contrary to what an Apple store novice categorically advised me against. Apple’s deterrent in India would be such ignorant Indian version of “Apple store geniuses”.

Bought this to replace my aging M510. Good, lightweight mouse with rubberized sides and matte-ish plastic button surface, although it looks more toy-ish than a 2000-rupee mouse. Connects easily to both Mac and PC (youll need to re-set up for each device) and works without any stutters at all on most surfaces. Buttons are noisy but have a satisfying click to them. Scroll wheel is a little prone to overshooting but you may be able to adjust this in settings. No extra buttons except for a small one below the wheel that pulls up the multitask bar (on both mac/PC).My biggest issue is that it’s a little too small to hold (I have big hands) so it’s not satisfying to “rest” your hand on it – so I have to use it in a “claw” posture.Range is excellent and slips into any laptop bag easily.Recommended for people with smaller hands and for general browsing and office work. Not recommended for people with bigger hands and looking for a weightier mouse for CAD/digital art work.Photos attached with old mouse for reference.

Good quality. But didn’t serve my purpose. Don’t buy if u plan to connect a Bluetooth keyboard simultaneously. I have a Windows 10 tablet with a Bluetooth keyboard. I thought a Bluetooth mouth would be great. But when I connect this along with my keyboard & use wifi at the same time, both the keyboard & mouse start lagging. So either I switch off wifi to use both keyboard & mouse. Or with wifi I have to switch off either the keyboard or the mouse. Seems Windows 10 has compatibility issue with wifi & multiple Bluetooth devices.

This mouse is expensive for what it offers. As far as I’ve used it (~10 days), it seems the multitasking button is poorly placed and the middle button has this weird, loud click. I bought it primarily for use on Android and the fact that one of the tilt buttons can’t be used is disheartening (you could if you tweak the keymaps in system/usr/). Apart from those issues, the mouse is good. Forgot to mention that the power cell compartment should’ve been a bit tighter, although one shouldn’t fuss over it. It pairs real fast and the primary buttons along with the scroll wheel does a good job. And ocassionally when you accidentally click that left tilt button which corresponds to the back button, you wonder why you don’t use it often. In my opinion, try to find a better mouse and keep this a fallback.EDIT: Been using this mouse for a while. Overall, a good mouse (although expensive). AND THE RIGHT TILT IS SUPPORTED BY SOME APPS! (eg: Chromium)UPDATE: The black rubber encasing the body has loosened off to expose the white plastic body and looks a bit ugly now (although a wee lighter on the bright side)

size is somewhat bigger than i expected.. the scroll wheel doesn’t working properly so it’s not for people who scroll through pages most of the time,, overall unsatisfied with the product even if got it at a cheaper price.. worst part is there is not return but only replacement policy.. 1 star less for no return policy since it is not mentioned on product page.

I bought the fast scrolling version. It’s a fairly big mouse. So a person with small hands will find it problematic.Snugs perfectly in the hand. At first I thought it had issues with accuracy but turned out to be the surface. Make sure you’re using it on a mouse pad or a proper desk. Of course doesn’t feel that premium as compared to a 5k Logitech mouse. For this price, its great.Tried on a macbook. Got setup in 5 minutes. None of the extra buttons work but thats ok.

The mouse is a light and can also be used by…… people with Small and reasonably Big hands. The Pointer moves across he screen at the right pace. But I’ve got 2 complains:1 – The On/Off switch is very small!I suspect if the Mouse falls the Switch may break with pressure. The design of the Switch is not right. It is vertical. It should be horizontal making it easier to switch On/OFF.2 – The design of the Battery compartment is BIZARRE!Usually the compartment is horizontal. But in this Mouse the compartment is in the form of 2 tunnels that goes into the body of the Mouse. It is not easy to bring out the Batteries with your fingers. To make this possible there is a plastic Flap attached at the side. You’ve to lay the Flap across the Tunnels and insert the batteries on top of it. To remove the batteries you’ve to lift the right end of the Flap.Nobel Prize for the person who thought of this utterly stupid design! Ridiculous!

Installation was plug and play with Windows. No drivers to install. Wireless operation has been flawless. The top of the mouse is rubberized synthetic that does absorb oil from your hand and fingers.. Easy to clean with windex though. I got the mouse in 799. I really like it. I will keep using it until stops working.. Oh. almost forgot it tracks well on my sofa as well. Considering price and smooth operation. 5 starsBatteries are easy to install. The +/- terminals are molded into body. Don’t understand the complaints about difficult installation.

1st. The product is good but it is not as the sixth photo. Its not 10.9 CM. Its Only 9.9 CM.2nd. When I connected it on my PC’s back its got connectivity issues of screen, it was lagging, no problem were on the front because.Amazon should be taken care of these issues.

Overall good mouse. One notable difference compared to logitech mouse is, this one is heavy with one battery. Difficult to lift it and scroll cursor while gaming,Update: no standby mode so battery drains very quickly, not sure how this is a highly rated item in amazon
Chaturvedi Dewashish –
Worst product ever. I just trusted Amazon basics and stuck with this as there is no refund policy. Even though if I want to replace it with wireless version of this. Which might have better scroll and possibly less sound. No value for money. Absolutely worthless. Don’t go for this. Buy something else.

Recently bought this Wireless Bluetooth mouse from Amazon with 15% cashback in just Rs.799 from here – https://amzn.to/2UDyH2F.Frankly speaking, I never switched from Dell Wireless Mouse earlier. But, since the time I’m using Amazon Basics mouse, I’m completely satisfied with its performance. Also, it has various adjustable DPI settings, you can select any DPI level just by pressing ‘DPI’ button from top of the mouse. DPI levels started from 600, 1000, 1600, 2400, 3600 as mentioned in the description and even you can observe that yourself while moving cursor across the screen.Bluetooth connectivity is great, quick responsive. Really smooth movement. Fits in palm perfectly and no irritation even-if used for a longer period. The scrolling as well as the scroll click is good.Overall, value for money product and really worth. Using this since last 6 months and no regrets whatsoever.

It’s built sturdy and now with 3 years of warranty but for warranty first check with Amazon customer careCons1. Priced little higher if you are getting it for 700 or below don’t think just buy.2. Glossy finish is prone to fingerprints.3. Red light lights up only for few seconds4. Not suitable for gaming if you need more than 3 buttons Left, Right and Scroll, like all others. And if you find this review helpful please click on the helpful option.

Good quality mouse. In terms of size, it is not as large as it looks in the pictures. But it is more than average and an average person’s palm easily can rest on it to give the comfort feel. The widened shape gives good support for thumb on one side and ring, little fingers on the other side. The button clicks are smooth. The middle scroll wheel could have been a little bigger. Windows 10 picked the wireless adapter and the mouse immediately. No issue on that front. Overall size could have been a litter bigger and the plastic could have been a little heavier. That would have made it as 5 star one.07/07/2018 update: Scroll is now erratic within 3 months. So, it is just 2 stars now.

This is very well designed mouse. Once u place Ur Palm u won’t feel any discomfort since it is designed like that. It comes with battery. It has three level dpi settings 1000, 1200 and 1600. It comes with one year warranty. It has low battery indicator as well. If Ur are in gaming or prolonged use of mouse then this is best one for you. It comes black colour with glossy top.

Its a top quality product with excellent look and finish. Its aluminium as described and also looks very premium. I am using this with original apple Magic Mouse and it does its job pretty well. If you are a MAC user and don’t compromise for anything less, then this can be a good buy for you.
