This is definitely a well designed pressure cooker. There are few challenges from cleaning perspective.

The lid is a bit heavy but otherwise amazing cooker. Cooks food in no time and the multi purpose functionality is tremendous.

Poor quality and you will find best product in market in the same rate.

The one I received had few defects . It was releasing pressure from many places even when locked perfectly . Making it dangerous also due to this the whole cooker used to leak hot steam making it very difficult to touch any where. I have initiated a returns already . We followed every instruction in manual yet it was not working as per procedure , looks like it better to buy from showroom .. on amazon sellers are pushing defective products. I am a prime memeber and buy lot of stuff from Amazon India and amazon USA . I request amazon to please have some mimimun quality control on products and sellers … I purely think I got cheated . In a was it has wasted my time and energy and also risking my wife’s and mother’s life ….. we are back to good old cooker …..

It stopped working after a month. Warranty is of no use as they don’t have any customer care number. You will need to write an email to the. They will then share their local engineer’s number. The engineer will charge you 150 rs for the visit. Have a back up because the whole process will take 3 months.1 month to register a complain.1 month for engineer to visit your place.1 month or a half to get the faulty part replaced.Buy at your own risk.

Tell manufacturer to withdraw all the models from the market immediately. It is possible in India only to release this worst products in the market for making money. It is one of the worst product i Have ever come across in my life.

The damn handle is coming off within a month of use. It’s secured using the most worthless screws that I had ever seen. It has no grip, you have to use two flathead screwdrivers to tighten it and then it would come loose in a month or so.

Product was delivered on time and looks promising. We tested this product both on LPG and Induction stove worked like a charm.Thanks Pigeon and Amazon for delivering such an excellent product.

All the nuts were loose even the handle that fits right below steam pressure weight is loose. I did not have the right tools to tighten the loose handle and if I take it to a local repair shop he asks for 150/- and says a washer has to be replaced. This is painful to bear with a new cooker one has bought.Overall the quality seems reasonable for the price range provided the above caveat can be handled.

Lid problem

hi,i have purchased it, but within 15 days body has been cracked, i discussed with customer care of pigeon but they are not supporting and demanding 500 rupees to repair it, then what is the meaning of one year warranty??please never select pigeon product.

Heavy in weight, good and durable handle of uniquely designed weight valve is solid and sturdy, safety plug is situated safely below the handle. Some people are never satisfied and can’t judge products quality. I have used Prestige, Hawkins, and other brands also. Used this for the first time. My favourite is Prestige stainless steel new model but I purchased this item on lightning deal @679/- and it’s really great for economic class purchase.

The cooker appears to be locally made in DELHI with just a sticker of HELICON pasted over the cooker body. Instead of HELICON, the word “OM” is embossed on the outer part of the lid. The handle plastic also doesn’t contain the name HELICON embossed on it while the image posted on amazon shows HELICON embossed on the plastic handle – this proves that locally-made cheap cooker is being sold by the seller and just a sticker with name HELICON is pasted before shipping to the customer. Quality of aluminium is not up to the mark when compared with branded cookers. Its better to invest 300 rupees more and get a branded cooker with ISI and brand-name embossed on the cooker. Before starting to cook anything in this cooker DO NOT FORGET TO BOIL JUST WATER in the cooker initially as this will remove a kind of coating/chemical this cooker contains on the inside walls otherwise it may spoil your food and may even be harmful to your health.

Nonsense….Worst product.., ( Pressure cooker) … It takes a lot of time to smelt pulses…. 👉Within 10 days, it extractingwater..

Very good quality pressure cooker. Built quality is quite strong.Definitely a recommendable product.I have received the item in original package. The seller is so ignorent that he/she doesn’t even bothered to simply wrap the carton with a bubble wrap. This is the only drawback that i found.Although the carton wasn’t properly packed (not at all supporting this) there was no deformation on the cooker surface. Hence this defines the durability of the cooker.I am greatly pleased and satisfied with the cooker.And apart from improper packaging; another annoying thing is that Amazon is fluctuating the price of this item every now and then. Fyi i bought it for 750INR, hence a value for money for me.But later i found the price to have hiked to 850, then 1199 etc etc.

This product is not really worth the review. the description says 3blitre cooker but it is actually a 2 little cooker only. We measured it. and this is cheating. Which means Amazon is actually also not checking what a supplier is providing.

The insulated handle gets warm during cooking, makes it difficult to handle the Cooker. The steam outlet of the Cooker doesn’t work properly, making it unsafe. Not an advisable product to buy, so I took a refund

– Product is good, but not induction base as stated in description. I request the seller and Amazon to provide seperate page for non-induction cookers.- for those complaining about closing lid, first remove whistle, place lid on cooker, slightly press the lid from top, close lid and then place the whistle.Similarly for opening lid, first remove the whistle, allow steam to release and then open it.- usually cooker comes with a small plate with holes to be placed inside cooker. I did not receive such a plate. Don’t know whether product includes the plate or not.- cost effective.- good packaging and promt Delivery

Got a defective Piece and calling multiple times for the delivery..Also the delivery boys was manner less and rude does not how to talk with a lady.

water drips from side of pressure cooker also the steam does’t leave the pressure cooker. It blasted on my face sending materiel everywhere in kitchen when i opened the lid as the stream had’t left the cooker

I bought this before one month, and I use only 3 time,,already it had a closer problem, and I then it comes whistle lately while using.. now there is big problem that whistle is not coming and firstly I dont know about it and after 5 to 6 mins a smell of burning was came, nd the dhaal which I kept inside the cooker was completely burnt.. Now I cannot replace it.. Amazon should consider this and make a replacement for this.. I’m completely disappointed.. And had a fight with my husband too..
