I wanted to return it back initially.. but when I got to know Phillips products are not returnable on Amazon.. I felt bad.. but when I started using the product.. the sound quality started improving.. i dont know how.. now it’s hit among my friends.. almost everyone bought it.. nice product for traveling.. I never miss taking it on any of my trips..

sound is good , but battery is extremely poor need recharge soon. The product was light and good looking.the Bluetooth connection was not stable, kept disconnecting. The sound was very low, no where near my two years old potronics pot(still the lightest, loudest, most compact bt speaker with clear vocals under 1500), . SO I had to return big thumbs up to Amazon’s amazing delivery and return policy.
Back up is less than 2 hours. Charged for 3 hours, still the same problem. 2 day old, applied for replace. Will see how the new product is

Philips blue-tooth speaker recently i purchased as it was assured(certified) by Amazon.in has disappointed me by its quality. I might have gone for a new product of same instead of refurbished one. There was marginally difference in price. I will think thrice before my next purchase.

Now it doesn’t come cheap but its quality and craftsmanship commands the premium similar to top phone and automobile brands. Loud sound to fill a large sitting room. Works wire free once charged. Great sound clarity. Its a marked improvement from the earlier Kilburn and worth going for this model. Pro tip.. watch the prices and strike a deal during shopping days /lightning deals on Amazon for a lower pinch to your wallet. I don’t usually listen to my music too loud and with a low to medium volume setting, the battery lasts about 5 days and 3-4 hours of playtime per day on a single full charge. Its got fast charging too, but I prefer a full charge and then disconnect for portability. The charging plug isn’t great though and surprisingly light and takes some adjustments to plug into the wall socket. Coming to sound quality, movies sound fantastic through this speaker. You can also hear the lyrics of songs better than on a cheaper speaker and there is a certain melodious and pleasantness to the output, though instrument separation is not at the same level of an audiophile speaker system. 60s/ 70s rock on this speaker is awesome! Coming to the design, it’s very light at under 3 kg and the water resistance gives you confidence to take it outside occasionally. Its not water proof, but resistant only. The looks are classic and the red under Carry strap looks nice. Knobs on top have a good feel and make a big difference to the sound output. A solid buy if you can get over the initial price hurdle. You get heritage, quality, great sound, good Bluetooth connectivity all in a small convenient practical package!
Bought this in Croma. I like the sound from Killburn-1 than Tufton.Vocals are not good in this model.Except vocals everything is very good.

After couple of months it has stopped working, when I took it to registered Philips service center, they refused to repair it citing the product is not genuine as it does not have serial number. I am thinking of complaining to consumer forum regarding the same as there is no platform in Amazon to address such cases. I request to Amazon team to address this issue at the earliest.

Battery is very poor quality after using it for 6 months battery lasting only for 10-20 min, this is very pathetic and there is no option you can change the batteries externally, so only one option is that you need to connect it to a power bank, So after six months of using I feel that this is not at all a good choice, be careful of battery specification also for buying these type of Bluetooth speakers.
An excellent portable speaker with amazing bass experience. For the size and battery backup, you would never get the same bass experience. Definitely was a surprise, when it started playing.

Good as Bluetooth device but aux cable and charger can’t be used simultaneously
I am changing my review from 5 star to 3 star. The reason for the change is now it’s been almost a year since I’m using this one. First 9 months it worked very well no issues. But from last 2-3 months, it’s on off button is not working properly. The Bluetooth device automatically gets disconnected for several times due to unknown reason and it sucks.
Less than 6 months back bought, it stops getting charged and just not working at all. Strongly advise do not buy this product.

My father loves listening to FM rather than YouTube or other music apps. I gave him this speaker and he enjoys listening to music on FM or Bluetooth while he can use his phone for reading news. Sound quality is great, Bluetooth is also very stable. There’s nothing peaceful than watching your father enjoying music and relaxing 🙂

Have been using the speaker for the past 3 days, here is the genuine review…Sound quality seems to be amazing, I played different genre songs like pop, rock, metal and many more, haven’t faced a single issue. The bass and sound are truly flawless at such price point.Battery backup seems really good too, was able to deliver 8 hrs in a single charge. Feels sturdy and also as the brand claims, it’s truly waterproof, have tested myself.Inbuilt voice assistant works well, Perfect for a 14x14ft room with 8-10 people. Speaker sound seems better than other brands offering at this price rate.Hit like if I helped you.
It’s been two days since i received the product and have used it to the best possible with both laptop as well as mobile and i csn surely say this is the best product at this price with respect to its shape, size and sound produced. I have tried it in small room now and i am satisfied with the product quality and i can say it will work well in open, large space too coz i had to hear at 60% volume in my room.So, if you are looking for one portable speaker at low price this is the one you should go for.

Battery is very poor quality after using it for 6 months battery lasting only for 10-20 min, this is very pathetic and there is no option you can change the batteries externally, so only one option is that you need to connect it to a power bank, So after six months of using I feel that this is not at all a good choice, be careful of battery specification also for buying these type of Bluetooth speakers.

The product is just amazing as Amazon Delivery (Delivered within 18hours- Amazon prime).. I was confused between Philips BT112 and JBL Flip 2, and got to know about BT114. I must say, with extra features, Better & More powerful output (double of JBL), it beats that from head to toe. Definitely recommend to other.

Philips blue-tooth speaker recently i purchased as it was assured(certified) by Amazon.in has disappointed me by its quality. I might have gone for a new product of same instead of refurbished one. There was marginally difference in price. I will think thrice before my next purchase.

I write review after use of more than a year, This product is more than value for money, nice sound quality good for bed room only and specialy I use this when I go to bed, battery life is more than 2 hour after one year and it’s size is perfect to carry in your hand bag, bluetooth connectivity is fast, it is also very durable
Back up is less than 2 hours. Charged for 3 hours, still the same problem. 2 day old, applied for replace. Will see how the new product is

The product is just amazing as Amazon Delivery (Delivered within 18hours- Amazon prime).. I was confused between Philips BT112 and JBL Flip 2, and got to know about BT114. I must say, with extra features, Better & More powerful output (double of JBL), it beats that from head to toe. Definitely recommend to other.
its ok in this price range but i recieved a defected piece from amazon. it shuts down automatically after connecting to device this is not expected from such a big brand philips. please replace my item immediately.
Everything about this product is very good-sound, clarity, features, connectivity, size/form factor. The products delivery was also promised and good, received the product in good shape. However what was upsetting is the calling, when paired with a phone, there was a lot of echo which my listeners were complaining off, I was however able to hear things clearly. tried a lot to troubleshoot this issue – searching on the Internet, trying multiple phones, but nothing seems to work. as this was one of the important needs for which I purchased the speaker I was pretty upset.
I have purchased Philips BT64R Portable Bluetooth Speakers (Red) on October 2016. After couple of months it has stopped working, when I took it to registered Philips service center, they refused to repair it citing the product is not genuine as it does not have serial number. I am thinking of complaining to consumer forum regarding the same as there is no platform in Amazon to address such cases. I request to Amazon team to address this issue at the earliest.
Honest reviewHave 2 one black and one red,For both for 2 months battery backup was good about 3 hours but after that it was horrible, lasts only 30 minutes changed battery by opening the front panel replaced the battery by nokia bl 5c., have to cut inside speaker little bit, but back up is now 15 hoursSo suggestion to philips… Improve on the battery side
Battery is very poor quality after using it for 6 months battery lasting only for 10-20 min, this is very pathetic and there is no option you can change the batteries externally, so only one option is that you need to connect it to a power bank, So after six months of using I feel that this is not at all a good choice, be careful of battery specification also for buying these type of Bluetooth speakers.

Immersive sound, excellent frequency response.Carefully packed and delivered. Delivers surprising performance compared to its size. Even with high volume you dont get slightest detoriation in sound quality.
