I bought this for my eight-year-old daughter’s new Paperwhite, along with a similar-looking case of a comparable price. This one wasn’t horrible, but it felt much cheaper and less secure than the other one, and it didn’t sleep the Kindle when you closed it. This one went back. The turquoise color was as pictured, and quite pretty, but the smooth, shiny texture felt a little cheap to me, and the flap was a bit stiff when you wrapped it backward. It also tended to show fingerprints. The interior was soft and smooth, though, and would do a good job of protecting the screen. The loops that hold the Kindle in place are tight enough, but because the case is open on the sides, I didn’t feel like it offered as much protection as the other hard-shell case. And I knew that my daughter would be wiggling around and fiddling with the Kindle while she read, and I wasn’t sure she’d be able to avoid bumping the loops and loosening the Kindle.I think if I’d ordered this one alone, I’d have probably kept it. The price was good, we could have lived without the sleep feature, and it probably would have provided enough protection for the Kindle as it knocked around my daughter’s bedroom. But the hard-shell case was a similar price, it seems to protect the Kindle better than this one, and it just FEELS better—the kid and I agree that it feels as though it were part of the Kindle itself. This one was merely a decent case for a reasonable price, and neither of us were overly impressed.

  7. This is my 2nd NuPro Paperwhite case (2nd kindle– no problems with the 1st case!), and it’s still the best case I’ve seen! When I ordered my second Kindle Paperwhite, I actually ordered a few different cases in attempt to try something new. As soon as I received them, I realized I missed my NuPro case, and I had to order this case instead! This case attaches to the Kindle similar to a book jacket. It provides security by adding a front cover-like flap for protection. This cover can be secured in place with an elastic strap that is attached to the back cover of the Kindle case. Here’s what I love about it:1. Very soft, leather-like feel. This is not a stiff case. It’s very easy to bend backward on itself etc.2. Slim profile yet does a great job protecting kindle. I’ve dropped my Kindle countless times in the 1 year+ that I’ve owned it, and I’ve never had any damage with this case on it! The total thickness of the case (front and back cover) is roughly equivalent (maybe a little thinner) to the thickness of the Paperwhite Kindle itself– so it adds some bulk, but it’s a lot less than I’ve seen from other Kindle cases.3. The elastic strap. This strap serves 2 purposes. First, it holds the front cover in place over the screen when you’re not using your Kindle so you don’t get a damaged screen. Second, it also lets you secure the front cover to the back cover (ie, mimicking an open book) while you’re reading the Kindle. I like to hold my Kindle by putting my hand between the two covers– the elastic holding the covers together (in an open book position) makes the Kindle much easier to hold when reading for long periods of time.

When I recently replaced my Kindle Paperwhite, I looked for an inexpensive but durable case, and this is really just fine. When I bought my first Kindle I could not find a reasonably priced case. Once secured inside the case, you can leave it in there and operate your Kindle Paperwhite without ever removing it, and it is ready to take with you anywhere. It is only slightly larger than the Kindle itself. I chose this turquoise color and I really like it, but are there a quite a few color options. I bought it for protection, of course, but I have actually found it easier to use the Kindle while in the case because it allows you to hold it more like book than a tablet.

This is not a very good cover for the Kindle Paperwhite 7th gen.. The material is not sturdy and feels cheap. The fitting is imperfect, it is too loose and is very uncomfortable for reading. I wouldn’t suggest it to anyone unless they have a budget constraint.

  14. I used it immediately and was very, very happy with it.It was easy to place and ‘stick’ on… it actually ‘sucks’ itself into place when gently slid and aligned along the upper edge and then let down towards the bottom edge. Keep it curved concave towards the surface of the Kindle, so that the air escapes as it attached itself to the screen. This way it won’t form bubbles between the film (screen protector) and the display screen. You should have no trouble doing that, as the thickness of the screen protector is just right. So, in actual fact, it is that ideal thickness of the film that makes it a great product, easy to install.

I purchased this cover along with the “Kindle with WiFi and 3G”. This cover was nicely designed for the Kindle along with the best fit and quality. It is smooth at base and flip cover of fine leather like quality. It has magnetic lock.Kindle automatically gets activated when we open the flip cover and goes off when flip is closed.

Please dont buy this. Even if you can’t afford the better cover, still don’t buy this. Comes with cheap material. Kindle doesn’t fit properly into it. It keeps moving inside the cover. It is quit thick. Auto wake/sleep doesn’t work.

This product is exclusively for Kindle. The quality of the product is really good, no complains. Does its job perfectly that is protecting kindle from external damages. I will recommend people to buy this cover as it is better than screen guard. External Screen Guard will reduce the paper like feeling of kindle (E-Ink technology looses its charm) . Hence buy this as substitute for the screen guards. Found this product a little costly, otherwise would have given 5 stars.

I unfortunately had to return this item to amazon. The cover made my device go into sleep mode and hang in that. I could only read my kindle when I removed it from the cover. The purpose of having a cover failed.Sorry, but wish you guys check what the dimensions of the cover are that it causes this issue or what the other reason could be.I do not recommend this product for a cover.

It’s been 3 weeks since I started using this cover. While the cover looks good and gives a good grip while holding the Kindle in one hand, the build quality isn’t that great. Last night the top right corner of the cover chipped right in my hand while simply holding it. I treat both the Kindle and the cover with good care.A product costing Rs. 1299/- should not chip within 3 weeks of purchase.

The screen protector fits perfectly onto my kindle paperwhite. Got it installed by my mobile shopkeeper, as they are experts in this work. It was very easy and he got it right in the first go (although the shopkeeper was handling a kindle for the first time). It is antiglare. Will encourage others to go for this product.

Why would TASLAR not mention that it has a high gloss screen??Why will anyone what to go from the matte, glare free kindle screen to a full gloss reflective panel??The fit is just about OK… the edges do not fit properly and have annoying air bubbles no matter how well you’ve installed this protector.I made a mistake buying this… i’d stay away from this is if I knew how bad this was.

The product is good and came well-packaged. But the guide stickers keep coming off, affecting the alignment drink application. This led to the edges not being stuck properly. Also, the surface can be quite reflective; and could hinder reading at times.

    1) Yes the seller does pack it very well and delivery was also on time .2) But for 700 bugs trust me you can get 3 of such kind what am i going to do with its packing.3) It fits well doesn’t handicap the buttons fine but due to its width a very part of buttons height is covered .4) overall no curving to fit precisely good quality but no extra working as i expected with the price . You can get tempered for 9.5 inch scree for just 399 and its 700 for 7 inch whats goldy in that man …. Lastly by applying this tempered u will observe that lifht resources will start reflecting from your screen .

The color looks exactly like in pic. Other than that i have nothing positive to say about this product. The flowers is just a matte printout that is stuck. They did not even do a good job of it becos on the back it does not extend all the way.The front cover is just slightly thicker than A4 so don’t expect it to protect your Kindle.Overall i fell for the look and i am disappointed. This product is worth not more than rs.100. Becos kindle and covers are not popular yet, have to settle for this one. I plan to continue my search becos i dont think this will last more than a month.

I felt its a good cover, though its my first one so cant compare, but built quality is pretty good. The front flap (good strength) has magnetic part which helps kindle switch off n on. The rear part is hard back plastic case and that makes this over all cover pretty badass. And last but not thr least, this has captain america print on both the sides and it really looks awesome. Marvel fans can have blind buy for this one.

Arrived superfast! Case looks good and easy to put on and take off thanks to very simple elastic straps in four corners. Can’t comment on durability yet, but feels sturdy and as if surface is lightly shower-proof (inner surface grey fabric). Can access power on switch and charger connection whilst case is on. Just what I needed and cheaper than some others available.

From the very beginning of owning phones, tablets etc I personally had 2 things I would do before even switching the device on : 1) a cover 2) a screen protector !You see so many phones, tablets etc either in use or for sale in second hand (sorry, ‘used’) shops, with scratches, or broken screens or that generally look as if someone has played football with them, would I want to own one of those ? No way.Why would someone pay hundreds of pounds an then not want to protect their investment and it doesn’t cost a fortune either.Enter this excellent screen protector.I have always been slightly dubious about these hardened glass type of protectors until I have used a few of them, now I am a BIG fan of them, and I never though I would say that !So why the change of heart ?Well firstly if you have a ‘plastic film protector’, they provide minimal protection against being scratched and nothing if a heavy object is dropped on it, you would end up with a broken screen. With a hardened glass protector, it is scratch resistant and if an heavy object is dropped on it, yes it would crack, but your precious screen underneath would be 100% OK, you would then just need to replace the protector and NOT the screen.Secondly is the ease of applying these screens, I have literally put hundreds of screen protectors on for both myself, friends and family, and often wondered why the plastic ones came in packs of three or more…The answer is it is so difficult to get them on first time, so usually I waste one or two before I perfect the technique, this depends on the actual protector too, some are better than others, even when they are on you have the problem of the dreaded ‘air bubbles’.Enter the harden glass screen, these are actually an absolute delight to put on, yes, I really enjoy putting them on !I was dubious about them being glass, thinking I might cut my finger etc when applying them, but you don’t need to worry.Make sure the screen is clean and dry, and even if the item is brand new and you habe just removed the plastic film the manufacturer has put on, PLEASE clean and dry the screen with the wipes provided and check for any dust specks afterwards !Next you remove the protective film off the back of the glass screen, now to have a nice ridged piece of glass to get hold of, not some floppy plastic film which you have to try and guess how to line up in the hope you are correct, and most times you get it wrong.I line the glass up by sight, slowly lowering onto the actual screen, 99.9% of the time I line it up perfect but If you go get it wrong just gently lift it off and try again, but DO NOT press on the screen if it is on wrong, otherwise it will stick to the screen.Next I just press in the centre of the screen (when you are 100% OK it is lined up) and literally watch the magic happen.. you see it literally install itself from the centre to the edges, it is really fascinating to watch, I love it, OK I don’t get out much I know :-)In conclusion, if like me you had doubts about this sort of screen protector, give these excellent screens a try, you won’t regret it, you will never go back to the old plastic ‘fiddly’ type again… trust me on this one.

  58. Fitted the device very nicely and did the job of both protection and anti glare. Only problem encountered was that the protector needs to be laid on the screen carefully starting from one end and then rolled on to get all the air bubbles out. Would recommend this product highly.

The screen protector fits perfectly on the Kindle and the quality is good. The bad thing is that it introduces glare which is really annoying which is why i took it off and won’t use it again

This cover is very sturdy and secures the Kindle pretty tightly. So you don’t ever have to worry about it accidentally popping out even if you drop it. The main reason I chose this cover is because of the strap that closes it tightly so it doesn’t fling open when it’s in a bag. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a great and durable Kindle cover.

Fits the kindle perfectly and securely. 4 elastic corners hold the Kindle firmly in place, without obscuring the screen in any way.The interior is a soft velvety feel that gives you confidence that the Kindle is well protected. The case itself feels sturdy and strong, whilst being lightweight. Overall it’s a very robust case and I would definitely buy it again. It’s been in use for many months now, through airport security machines, dropped and has survived everything & still looks as good as new. It’s done a fine job of protecting the kindle. Recommended.

  63. It’s fine, but certainly doesn’t give my Kindle a ‘premium’ feel –> the felt inside has a nasty feel to it.

I bought this and another 3rd party leather case for 1k for my All-New Kindle Paperwhite. Though there are many other cheaper cases out there, there’s literally nothing like this or even closer to this.Pros:- The case gives a premium feel, has an excellent finish and is smooth and sexy- It gives a great grip while reading- Water doesn’t really affect it too since this is water safe- Protects the screen of the Kindle (instead of buying a screen guard like a lot of people, go for this since most guards will not retain your natural reading experience – the reflections sorta increase and the whole Kindle feeling goes away)- The colour is damn attractive and classyCons:- Price: higher than many other third party cheap covers out there- Putting this or any screen guard on will slightly increase the weight of the Kindle (doesn’t really trouble me, but can be a concern for extended reading times)But my personal equation here: Safety of the Device > Little additional weight- This review is after using the cover for a couple of weeks now, so cannot comment on wear and tear yet.Final Verdict:If you want to protect your Kindle, go for this premium cover as compared to any other cheaper cover out there in the market.

I had been wanting to buy a kindle for a long time after seeing many of my friends using it and absolutely loving it. The moment I came across the 10th Gen Kindle Paperwhite, I bought it. It’s been around one month since I have been using it and I’m in love with it. Please note, I have charged it only once in last one month (and I pretty much read daily). The battery life is awesome. Easy to carry and has enough space to store all the books that I love. Give it a try if you’re a book lover and don’t mind reading your favorite stories/authors on a digital medium.

The reading experience with this device is unmatched. If you are an avid reader, then this should be in your backpack. I heard some people tell that when they try to flip the page to the left side with a touch, it actually goes forward instead. Even I face this problem. Looks like a software bug. If you need to flip your page backwards, you may swipe on the left side instead of a touch. This way the pages flip backwards.

Case is an exact fit, inserting and removing the Kindle from the case is difficult. The plastic frame is sturdy though a Silicone Gel one would have been better, but will not be easy to fit the magnets in such a construction. Outer material is some kind of Rexine. Quality is good and the device will be well protected from drops and scratches. The magnetic mechanism of turning on the kindle when opening works well too. The only con is that it is very heavy, almost weighs as much as the Kindle, highly recommended though.

I travel everyday to office by either local train or bus. Kindle e-book reader stays inside my laptop bag. So whenever, I get a seat inside any public transport vehicle, I take out my e-book reader and start reading from it. I have been doing it for the last one year. The device not only provide pleasant reading experience but convenient to hold as well. Do I then really need a cover? It never strikes my mind in the first place. Neither did I ever intend to purchase it. My office colleagues are aware of my fondness for the device. So they decided to present me a flip cover case as a kindle book reader accessory, on my last birthday 2 months back. Though not excited with the product but was however glad for the gesture. When I first opened it, I was charmed by its look. It not only fits well but adorns the otherwise dull looking but extremely useful kindle device. After use, I was absolutely delighted. A customer before purchase of such product will look for any or some of these factors – Style, Protection and Convenience. It’s purported to provide all the three. Though the built and leather feel provides the durability, protection and style but on the flip side, the weight is now almost doubled. However, this does not act as a deterrent. As mentioned by other reviewers, it sleeps and awake with shutting and opening of flips respectively. The one option which overrides others for me is convenience. Since the cover goes all the way to the back, you can actually make the kindle device stand; as per your reading convenience for that matter. It works well for readers who have the habit of reading books lying down, with head resting on the pillow with upper part of the torso at 20-30 degree angle. In this posture, you can make the device stand on chest and your hands are free. This gives me a unique but convenient mode of reading. The flip cover compliments kindle reader well. This is a useful addition which certainly adds value to your e-book reader. Before going for such products, please check whether it is compatible with your device. A good collection item which you won’t regret.

I was a little apprehensive at the beginning on choosing this case instead of the original Amazon one. But the original case was far above my budget and I had to settle for cheaper options. This case had a lot of positive reviews and so I took a risk and bought. And boy, was I lucky. The case fits my Kindle perfectly and it is a real beauty. Excellent build quality, magnetic lock and Auto Wake Up function only adds to its charm. This case is a worthy buy for anyone.

Nice cover.. Nice auto off feature. The only problem which I faced while carrying was that when the Kindle was in my bag, the cover magnet may slip down a little and renders the Kindle on. If you wish to carry the Kindle with you then you will have to allot a dedicated slot for Kindle alone and not keeping with others stuffs like books or copy etc. They may continuously turn the Kindle on and off and may cause some problem. Other advice if not the above one is that you can choose from a no magnet Kindle cover which are cheaper and had no problem on carrying it with anything, but you will have to manually turn it on to start reading and turn it off after completing your reading.

I like the weight. Just about right. The original Amazon case is a bit bulky. This cover will protect your Kindle paperwhite and also give you the auto wake/sleep feature in less than 1/3 price of the original Amazon cover.Go for it.

I picked this up for INR 599 and I got to tell you, for the price this case is awesome. It is well made, fits perfectly and looks premium, at-least now. I will find out eventually how it will hold. But for now, I am super happy with this buy. I wasn’t expecting anything like this, going by recent experiences I had buying cases and covers. But this is a definite winner.

  114. It’s fine, but certainly doesn’t give my Kindle a ‘premium’ feel –> the felt inside has a nasty feel to it.

I am extremely happy with my Kindle Voyage. I can’t say the same for this screen protector. It is described as anti glare and simple to install without bubbles developing. Neither is true. I can live with the glare, but getting rid of the bubbles was tedious, to say the least. I had to resort to the credit card trick to try to squeeze out the bubbles; in the process, however, I may have damaged the screen of the Voyage because of all the pressure I had to apply to get rid of them. There are scratches, but I am not sure whether they are on the screen protector or the Kindle screen. It is a terrible purchase. If you are going to purchase a screen protector and don’t mind the glare, purchase the one for $29. I wish there had been some reviews of this so I could have avoided purchasing it. I have bought many items from Amazon. This is the first one that was a major disappointment.

First, I want to give an award to NuPro for the most enigmatic and useless product instructions. These consist of three tiny, almost indecipherable drawings on the tabs attached to the film. Second, like many of the older generation of film protectors, I found this impossible to apply without getting a bunch of air bubbles. When I purchased my latest iPhone and iPad, I didn’t have this problem because the protectors were a bit thicker and must of also used a different type of adhesive surface. Finally, to add insult to injury, the third tab which allows you to separate the film from its protector sheets is difficult to remove and leaves a sticky residue behind. I purchased it because Amazon listed it as an accessory to the Kindle Voyage that I purposed. I blame Amazon for this: I didn’t think it would recommend such a poor accessory for one of their flagship products!!!!

  126. I’m happy with this screen protector. I was a little bit skeptical after reading the reviews here but having bubbles on your kindle is more of your fault than this products’s. Having seen that being done before, I successfully applied the screen protector at my first try. I think I’ll post the instructions here so it can be helpful for those who’re having troubles using this product.1. Use the cloth (shipped with this product) to clean the screen of any fingerprints.2. Using a piece of scotch tape, tap on the screen to remove tiny particles. Those may not be visible but they’re the reason bubbles appear when you apply the protector. Make sure you tap everywhere on the screen3. Peel off the red label and align the screen protector carefully with the top of your kindle. Use the hole as an anchor. Position it horizontally first, you’ll see there actually a tiny gap from the left/right edge of the screen to the left/right edge of the protector. Make the gap from the top edge of the screen to the top edge of the protector equal.4. Use the white piece of plastic (shipped with this product) to slowly apply the protector to the screen. If you do step 2 well enough, there will be no bubbles at all. Peel off the lower part of the protector as you proceed and slowly apply. If you mess up, remove the piece and try again from step 1.You have 3 tries. Just relax and do it slowly with care and you’ll be fine.
