Pathetic stuff! I am highly disappointed. Senco brand gold is a good name in the industry. Its ecommerce wing it seems is out to spoil its market reputation. Check out the following:1) There is NO hallmarking as shown in the display image.2) Its a naked coin. No tamper proof packaging or even basic packaging.3) It was delivered in a dabba meant for jewellery.4) The coin did not look brand new. It had all sorts of scratches everywhere.5) My invoice also does not mention exact 5 grams. Its a tad less but about say value of 50-60 Rupees which is minor. But still its not proper!6) NOWHERE on the coin is the brand i.e. Senco mentioned. Stunning!!I would be apprehensive before buying from Senco again.

Very very disappointed to see packing, packing rating 1 out of 10 , it was 995k when I checked , their are only tag it is 999k , suggest to other buyers please don’t buy Malabar gold.
Poor laminated packing. BIS mark is not visible and not certified anywhere. Have to check the purity and weight. Not at all satisfied.
So it cost same as gold locally but now gold gone up 20 percent so it was a great buy. It’s blank with no letters or symbols so you can get it engraved as well. Was not sure when buying but today it looks like made a great buy.

In product description it is mentioned that bar will be bis hallmarked encripted / marked.. but when I recieved the product there is no mark. I don’t even know if it’s original product or not
There is no BIS hallmark inscription on the bar as they mentioned in the description….feeling it is cheating of the customers from the side of malabar gold…Amazon authorities should verify such falls descriptions… very much disappointed.

Excellent comes with tamper proof dealing certificate and invoice. Bis hallmark also is there along with year of manufacture assay and jeweler logo. Awesome. Back of the coin also visible. Whereas joy alukkas was not. Main drawback is even if you go to store or pawn shop can’t get full value. Surely depreciation for their profit margin they’ll deduct and then only give. Real appreciation wise investment is either stock trading mutual fund fixed deposit or else real estate. But again risks are there too.
Generally 22k gold should have BIS Hall mark or at least assayer certification. But the coin does not have any certification

Malabar is not delivering pure gold having 22k value . I had lost 300 rs in 5gms coin because the carat value was 21.7 not 22k

Booked and got it after 9 Days. bought it for Rs 15876. Charged almost 9% more than Gold Price. Usually Other shops charges(Making) in coins will be around 1-2% + 3% (GST) = Total 5%. Though the price is more but want to give a try once. Will check it for Purity.
Bought 10g 999.9 purity 24 k gold from brpl.And while checking the product it was only 9.8 grams in weight also the purity was less it was only 999.1 which was not at all recommended by any standards.Please buyers stay away from this product.I checked at government centre mmtc.
The gold bar has a sub optimal finish and the quality of edges etc. is way below par. Moreover the bar was out of place in the supposedly tamperproof sealing and was bulging out from the plastic cover. I had to cut open the tamperproof card to avoid the bar bending over time and getting damaged. My first and last purchase from BRPL.
Though I did not verify the purity but also it shows once I break the seal warranty will be void…going by reputation of Brpl, it looks satisfied buying…
I bought it and opened the seal and got it tested today by gold testing machine. And the purity is 99.93%.And the weight is 4.997 for 5 grams.This variable weight is common. No need to panic.But open the seal before a cam so that you report in case of discrepancies.
Sometimes they do not seal the box properly. There will be chances of theft as coins can be pulled out of the box easily.
Bought it during festive sale with bank offers, worth the investment. I don’t suggest to buy during non-offer days as it’s heavy on pockets. The prices are hiked when compared to market
The only drawback in buying gold coin. When we try to produce it in any gold jewelry in buying ornaments then they take it for market rate which is less than buying rate from here. Finally it become loss in buying gold coin.

The rate of gold as of nov 5, 2018 for 1gm of 24k gold is 3180. Going by that a 5 gm gold coin can be worth 15900. How are they charging over 17k and then pretending to give a discount and selling it at 16900? Customers ought to figure this out as the price of gold is transparent!
Check the price and buy, if the deal is good. Product is perfect, no doubt about it. See the offers available and go for it if price is good..

Coin is fine and came within a nice package. However, there was no original receipt from Malabar unlike other jewelers. Only the Amazon receipt was provided. Such laziness is unacceptable considering the item being sold and its value.
Received the Gold coin 5gms ,916 ,like it very much brought on sale,it was found with seal packed
The package was very simple. The coin was placed inside basic plastic lamination as we do for id cards. There is no certify by any where in the card as they show in the product image. The back side of the coin is also not visible as they show in product listening. There is no malabar bill provided with this. I purchased from WHP Jewellers before for which they provided bill with great packing for just 1 gram of gold. Malabar need to learn from them.
Received broken seal box.No seal on box as delivery executive also saw that.This is not the way to deliver this geniune item.When checked not item available as only bill in red bag available..Kindly take action on it..
We will not get same value when we go and sell this to jeweller.
Gold is always a good investment. Amazon with their partners are doing good with offers and discounts on gold coins which is useful as a good investment where you get a price benefit of more than a thousand on 5 grams.

Most of the jewellers not accepting it, saying that they only accept their own jewellery items and better to sold it back to MMTC.
I bought these gold bars as an investment and I am only regretting why I did not order from MMTC-PAMP before. The packing is tamper-proof and the product is just GREAT. I shall definitely be buying from you again.
Excellent product. However Amazon not honoured their commitment in spite of assurances twice from their executives
