This laptop was great value for money Since I exchanged my old laptop. If you can buy this laptop under 23k , just go for it. You won’t regret it. There are many upgrade options available for this laptop So that you can improve the performance of this laptop. I didn’t find any other laptop where I can upgrade to Nvme m.2 SSD.So I was testing my laptop for the last few weeks without the upgrade and it was performing well. But there was some issues with the gaming, Photoshop and continues browsing with many tabs opened.Then I upgraded to WD green m.2 240Gb SSD (sata speed) and migrate the Windows OS to the SSD with the WD OS Clone tool which is available on the WD website. It did shows a significant improvement in the performance. The browsing, photoshop cc speed increased but not the gaming fps. Bought it form Md computers (online) for Rs 3500.If you have the budget go for Samsung 970 evo( Samsung 860 evo for low price).The boot time was reduced to 10sec, for HDD it was around 26sec , for SSD it was 16 sec.I tried to play GTA 5 on SSD , the loading time was reduced but it’s not playable even at lowest graphics settings.Then I upgraded the ram since 3Gb of my ram was always used by the OS, So I installed ADATA 4GB DDR4 2400Mhz ram for Rs 3000 , it really improved overall performance of the laptop. Ram is now running on Dual channel.The laptop came with Samsung M471A5244CB0-CTD Ram which was capable of running at 2666Mhz ,but the laptop motherboard only support 2400Mhz Ram. I opt the help of HP forum and a computer expert to find the best compatible ram for the laptop because there is a chance of some compatibility issues.I would say if you are buying any other ram other than ADATA AD4S2400J4G17-R , Make sure that you take the laptop to a technician so that even if the ram doesn’t support you still won’t loose your money.I tried to buy online, but if it doesn’t support means I can’t return the product.Now I can play GTA 5 with average 30fps at low settings,No photoshop editing lag ,applying filters and other effects.Pros:AMD RYZEN 3 performance is very goodCan be upgraded to nvme m.2 SSD (Samsung 970 evo the best)No overheating issues.Good viewing angle.Activated windows 10 HomeFast chargingCons:Battery life max 4hrsTouchpad not preciseNo backlit keyboardSpeakers averageRam and SSD slot not easily accessible

I bought this laptop yesterday (12th November 2018). It came with FreeDOS and I had planned to install Ubuntu on it. Unfortunately, upon installing Ubuntu I found that the WiFi and TouchPad did not work. I called Lenovo support and after some heated exchange found that this laptop is only tested on Windows 10. They shared a link for all the drivers. So had to switch to good old Windows since this laptop would be used by my family.More importantly, you cannot get anything better for the price (I paid Rs. 17.5K for this). It works amazing, speed is great, and just perfect for home use. I will share an update in a few months after having used it for a while.I would strongly recommend that you use this laptop only with Windows 10 unless you are an expert user and fix all the technical issues that may arise.

The name and quality of HP, 1 TB HDD, 4 gb RAM, latest 9th generation A9-9125 processor, 5 hrs. battery back up, fast speed (2.30 GHz of 9th gen. processor i.e. of today is equal to 3.5 GHz of the competition). Very good for multi-tasking etc. At the same time do not make the mistake of thinking it has similar capabilities to that of gaming laptops. For below 21K this is best and cheapest laptop you can buy.

I brought this for my HP PAVILION 15 CS2096TX model..The quality is good but while typing its extremely uncomfortable and the keys kinda didn’t fit properly..Overall I am not at all satisfied by the product..just brought this by reading reviews but not so worth to buy this as the light on f6 and caps locks cant be seen through this..since I am a CSE student..its not comfortable at all to type properly…im not telling anyone to not buy this but it should have been more comfortable than it is irl I guess..thats it…

It fits perfectly for hp notebook 15 bs 146 TU. It sticks itself to the keyboard.No slipping.One disadvantage is that it spoils the look of my laptop. My keys are visible but not like before.It makes them look dull.Other than that it is really good.As for as durability is concerned, I have no idea.I have to use it to see about it.Delivery is quick and satisfiable . If u are looking for product to safeguard your laptop from dust and others without considering about the look of your laptop,U should go for it.

Perfect fit for HP-bs542TU laptop keyboard. Best choice for keyboard cover. The only thing you might find to complain is the caps lock light is a lot dimmer with this cover (see photos). But at least it is visible, so personally i have no trouble with that.

For the price, it’s a steal. Felt material is nice to touch. No static develops when you run your hand over it. The size is just perfect for 13″ laptops. I am using First gen Surface Book and it fits well. The color also complements the surface book. The sleeve also accommodates surface pen well. I just received it. Don’t know how it’ll fare in time. So far so good.

The cover is quite classy primarily because of the colours available and the material used. It works both for formal and casual looks. The pockets available don’t have much space except if one were to slide in few sheets of paper. Simply put, only the laptop can fit in, not the adapter. Velcro on the cover, however, led to the ruining of the fabric around it but that is not entirely a deal breaker. As of now, I’ve used it for almost 3 months and everyone that has seen it is quite impressed with the quality as well as the price, including myself. I would definitely recommend it!

Guys, i recommend u to thing once again if u r purchasing laptop priced around 50k. As this one beats it easily…Just buy it, install win 10 pro/home (don’t activate it) & give it internet connection by usb tethering then go to windows update.. let it update itself. Update would be of 7gb size appro after it see the magic…then crack the windows…by disabling windows update service & bits service.

First of all, this is after 15 days of daily usagePros:1)Windows 10 OS is pre-installed, Which is great to use.2)No heating issues or heavy fan sounds so far3)Core i5 8th Gen is no doubt faster, Compare to core i3 i have used previously4)build quality is good.5)Touchpad is good and as per expectation, so is the keyboard.6)Light weight7)Fast charging : Not as fast as per the mention i.e 0 to 50% under 45 mins, but have observed fast charging compare to previous laptops i have used.Cons:1)Battery life is not as per given 7 hours, it is hardly 3 to 4 hours2)Full HD Display. it will create discomfort for your eyes after a while But it has anti glare feature which is a plus pointOverall, go for this laptop if you are using your laptop in the evening or somewhere around 3 to 4 hours, will not recommend for official work or heavy gaming.

A good laptop that needs some investments to bring up to good performance levels**Check my upgrade photos and instructions at the end**1. Average screen but workable (its FHD screen with 250 nits, i am used to working on retina imac 27inch, so please excuse)2. Average battery, just like any other machine of this class. only built in graphics so ok for batt life on this.3. Excellent processor: quad core with Hyper threading, you will see 8 cores due to HT, which is good for multi threaded apps, this is a common intel found in a lot of mid end laptops4. ok onboard graphics, not for gamers but small/strategy games are ok, play aoe, cossacks, quake 3 etc. old games work fine.5. excellent sound, more than sony viao etc. i am happy with sound and i usually like 7.1 atmos at home, so sound is good for built in speakers of this small machine.6. DOS, cannot put windows 7 due to MS and HP restrictions, i still put windows 7 by hack and my license allowed free upgrade to win 10. If you have win7 key, use that in win 10 installer to see if ur eligible for free upgrade even in 2019-20.7. single superfast 3.1 usb port, for rapid external hdd transfers, rest or the ports are normal, this port is fast charging for compatible phones8. no removable battery or ram/hdd slots, entire back needs to be unscrewed. common with modern budget laptops9. Lid quality is glossy and ok, but a good skin will add a lot of candy. i added 300rs skin from amazon, it looks classy now.Upgrades you need:–M2 SSD, absolute must, i used 256gb one, and using the hdd as secondary storage, more than enough for me. i have 5 computers in home office and a server, so storage is not an issue. if this is the only machine you will have, try getting external hdds later… or keep a cloud hdd at home.– Another 16gb ram stick can be installed, without which, life is hell as windows and programs fill memory and keep refreshing/closing. i just put in 8 gb and now have total 12gb which is enough, for lower budget you can do it like me.open back panel and install updates, may affect warranty? but i dont care really..–Open all screws at the back–Remove rubber rest linings (2pcs) you can restick these if you carefully do not place them on the gum side, or use fevicol probond again, only probond will work, available at plywood shops for fixing edgebanding tape, or you can try any rubber adhesive, puncture fixing yellow solution etc.)– remove hidden screws below rubber rest lining you removed (see pics)– remove any usb devices and pull the dvd tray after opening it, just pull it will come out easily.– pry open the edges with a credit card or any plastic card– reverse the laptop on soft surface like cloth or mat– install ram (see pics) and M.2 drive, i used NVMe for super fast boot, you will need to unscrew the securing scew and place M.2 Drive then secure the screw again as in pic– Install everything in reverse order and boot– use any cloning software (i used free version of Macrium Reflect for windows 10) to move your installation to the new drive, set boot device to new ssd and reboot to make sure all works, then i used the original 1 tb disk as storage after formatting it.after the upgrades, laptop will be very fast, the moment you press power button, it takes 12-15 seconds to fully boot. from windows login, it takes 2 seconds to load. to shut down it takes 2-5 seconds for light to go out fully. without upgrades, its slow as a snail it used to take 2 minutes to boot. remember to use NVMe disk not the regular plain M2, the cost if not that high and speed is double. after all this, it rivals a performance desktop if you count the graphics out! Hope you find it useful and hit the button if you did!

A good laptop that needs some investments to bring up to good performance levels**Check my upgrade photos and instructions at the end**1. Average screen but workable (its FHD screen with 250 nits, i am used to working on retina imac 27inch, so please excuse)2. Average battery, just like any other machine of this class. only built in graphics so ok for batt life on this.3. Excellent processor: quad core with Hyper threading, you will see 8 cores due to HT, which is good for multi threaded apps, this is a common intel found in a lot of mid end laptops4. ok onboard graphics, not for gamers but small/strategy games are ok, play aoe, cossacks, quake 3 etc. old games work fine.5. excellent sound, more than sony viao etc. i am happy with sound and i usually like 7.1 atmos at home, so sound is good for built in speakers of this small machine.6. DOS, cannot put windows 7 due to MS and HP restrictions, i still put windows 7 by hack and my license allowed free upgrade to win 10. If you have win7 key, use that in win 10 installer to see if ur eligible for free upgrade even in 2019-20.7. single superfast 3.1 usb port, for rapid external hdd transfers, rest or the ports are normal, this port is fast charging for compatible phones8. no removable battery or ram/hdd slots, entire back needs to be unscrewed. common with modern budget laptops9. Lid quality is glossy and ok, but a good skin will add a lot of candy. i added 300rs skin from amazon, it looks classy now.Upgrades you need:–M2 SSD, absolute must, i used 256gb one, and using the hdd as secondary storage, more than enough for me. i have 5 computers in home office and a server, so storage is not an issue. if this is the only machine you will have, try getting external hdds later… or keep a cloud hdd at home.– Another 16gb ram stick can be installed, without which, life is hell as windows and programs fill memory and keep refreshing/closing. i just put in 8 gb and now have total 12gb which is enough, for lower budget you can do it like me.open back panel and install updates, may affect warranty? but i dont care really..–Open all screws at the back–Remove rubber rest linings (2pcs) you can restick these if you carefully do not place them on the gum side, or use fevicol probond again, only probond will work, available at plywood shops for fixing edgebanding tape, or you can try any rubber adhesive, puncture fixing yellow solution etc.)– remove hidden screws below rubber rest lining you removed (see pics)– remove any usb devices and pull the dvd tray after opening it, just pull it will come out easily.– pry open the edges with a credit card or any plastic card– reverse the laptop on soft surface like cloth or mat– install ram (see pics) and M.2 drive, i used NVMe for super fast boot, you will need to unscrew the securing scew and place M.2 Drive then secure the screw again as in pic– Install everything in reverse order and boot– use any cloning software (i used free version of Macrium Reflect for windows 10) to move your installation to the new drive, set boot device to new ssd and reboot to make sure all works, then i used the original 1 tb disk as storage after formatting it.after the upgrades, laptop will be very fast, the moment you press power button, it takes 12-15 seconds to fully boot. from windows login, it takes 2 seconds to load. to shut down it takes 2-5 seconds for light to go out fully. without upgrades, its slow as a snail it used to take 2 minutes to boot. remember to use NVMe disk not the regular plain M2, the cost if not that high and speed is double. after all this, it rivals a performance desktop if you count the graphics out! Purchased it on 30 jan 2019, Got Only 9 Months Warranty. How to resolve it?.

Sound and build quality needs to be improved. Working wonderfully with SSD installed at place of HDD. HDD replaced on SATA DVD drive with caddy. RAM upgrade upto 16 X 2 GB possible. Go for extended warranty.

I bought it because I needed a fast system to build my code but this hangs even on Google Chrome (3 tabs). The worst thing about this laptop is you can only install Windows 10 operating system in it. HP doesn’t provide support for any other OS. I tried to install Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) in it but guess what it does not support system architecture of this laptop. They don’t even mention system architecture of any laptop list here. It has an i586 architecture which was developed in the year 1993. The latest Intel-based system architecture is i786 which you might not even find on Amazon or any online store.People get confused with 8th gen stuff which is nothing more than a hoax. You might find some reviews saying this is a very good laptop at this price range, breaking news they are wrong or they don’t even know what they are talking about. I have given my experience on this product now it’s your choice to buy this product or not.

Honest Review after using 3 months.I am Digital Marketer by profession and I need machine which can easily handle my heavy excel file and data work. I found this laptop good but still it is not at my level. If only accessing file, mails, PPT etc is concerned then it is the best laptop at this price range.I also have issue with the mouse pad, as the mouse which is coming up with this model is basic touchpad and not a multi touch pad.Rest everything is good.

This product has no good quality as I paid the amount for it.Tge laptop you have delivered me is not functioning properly .At 31.dec.2018 I talked to your customer service he told me that a technician will come to you at 2nd Jan 2019. and he will check the device and if their is any software problem then we will replace it but nobody came,I waited whole day ,I have lost my valuable time just because of you.Thus I can say that you are not providing better service to your customers.Customers are MONEY BANK FOR YOU. NOTHING ELSE.

This lap top is good if we are using 4gb redeon graphics or Nvidia graphics. Don’t go AMD Radeon 2gb graphics really it’s waste otherwise u can go with integrated graphics Intel uhd 520 .one more thing what ever they mentioned about 2gb graphics it’s wrong they mentioned 530 tesdeon but it’s 320 readon it’s really cheating customer

In case ,its fully charged, I can full-charge my Nokia 5.1 by USB in standby 3+ times.If you want to unleash full power of this beast, you need to attach one 128/256GB SSD and one 8GB ram more & you’re good to go!

The device is pathetically slow and hangs a lot even in below normal usage. Performance is not even comparable to the specs. Even my 2 year old i3 works faster and better than this piece of crap. Definitely there is something wrong with this laptop as a laptop of this specifications should work fine. Reset it hoping it will work fine after that but the problem still persists. Applied for an exchange/return

Hi there,Writing this review after 2+ months of use.Before buy I saw some negative review so little hesitated before buy. But as soon as turn it on and surprised with the speed. Let’s go for little details.It has a powerful CPU, same CPU used in laptop above 70K laptop.Full HD screen with antiglare.Nice finishing and look.*256GB SSD*Most important is SPEED.I saw some people given a negative review about speed, I don’t know what are they using. I am a developer and using Android studio, Visual studio and sometimes using VIrtual machine (VMware).I used common sense before buying this laptop. If you see the laptop buying guide, then you will find this is well suitable.The little issue here is. It has 4GB RAM only but thanks to SSD to take care of it. But If you are using much software at the same time so consider for upgrading at least 4GB RAM.I never played Game on this laptop so I can’t give a comment but for gaming, you must consider for dedicated powerful Graphics card so in the laptop, above 70K.Somebody has given a review that it has less brightness, not true. It has too much brightness and I am using max brightness at 40% only.Battery backup: I am happy with battery backup.I received battery backup up to 8 hrs while used Powerpoint and Word.Up to 4.5 Hrs, two 1080p movies on 40% brightness.I will totally recommend this laptop.

Love the product. Everything is fine except significant backlight bleeding at bottom corners which is not acceptable at this price range especially on such a good panel.Killer wifi issue – not able to get the full speed of my wifi network even after having each and every type of update done.Warranty – not being able to get warranty on dell’s website.

Nice laptop…I see no issues…4k panel is very very impressive for editing videos…Hope next model with changed thermal design…
