Quite a handy tool for me. I am single and need to cook my own food and cutting vegetables can be a bore. This machine makes it easy for me to make vegetable salads or chop vegetables for cooking. Not for families however because the quantity of vegetables it can hold and process is very less. I gave one star less because the description was misleading to state ‘blender’. It has not blending attachment.
This is very TINY! So small that you would think you ordered a different product. Product images don’t do justice to show actual size. The lid doesn’t have a “slide and lock” mechanism, simply sits on the base. You have to cut the veggies quite small in order to comfortably pull the handle which makes it counter productive. Instructions advise we fill the bowl 50% for optimal chopping which again considering how small this already is makes is counter productive. There’s a rubber ring at the bottom for grip which constantly comes off! We might as well just manually cut veggies!

It has not even been a month, and this chopper has stopped working. How do I get it replaced? The plastic body has major cracks, and chord mechanism stopped working!!! The blade was sharp as long as it lasted but now I’m left with a nearly broken/cracked bowl and a no use chord and definitely no chopper!

Its very useful and nice product for regular life its a time saver also i liked everything about it but the name home puff was written on top is not long lasting .in 1 wash that disapear .it was looking nice when it was there but now top lid is blank. Els the product is very good in using and quality wise also
With this chopper cutting is no longer a chore. You can easily cut veggies and fruit into small pieces effortlessly.

So far… Excellent. Chops quickly and evenly. One important thing, don’t fill it to the top. It’s not magic. I tried filling it up with carrots and had to take some out before it would chop. Other than that, it works well. I have used it for onions, garlic, carrots, tomatoes, coriander, potatoes, capsicum. Outstanding and or the price. Nice buy.

pulling properly in right direction and washing blades in running tap water after use.. retains the product for longer useblades are really sharp. be careful while washing them. my advice not to touch the blades at all..(donot forcefully pull the rope if there is a lock between blade and food item , remove the lid release the lock and use it again. if locking occurs again, cuts the food item into smaller piece and use this cutter for fine chopping

Next, there are 2 pairs of blades along the stem that will slice/mince, longer or larger pieces of vegetables. The blades are too sharp to be handled or cleaned by hand. Never try to clean these blades stem by hand.The bowl is so big that about 1/2kg of minced cabbage (moderate size) can easily fit into it. If one has less time to cook, mincing the vegetables to finer grains using this, is very helpful. The cooking of such minced vegetables becomes faster. The pull string seems of good strength and can sustain force very well. The mincing seems way too fine and there is a fear of loss of vitamins and hence should be used to check the chopped size of the vegetables.Extra care to be taken to handle the blades. The bowl plastic is strong and sturdy. Overall a 4.5/5 for the product.I bought this to use mincing of tomatoes for the rasam… when there is a power outage and I cannot use the blender. , And also for Onions. One will find it handy when you have a lot of vegetables to chop for salads and chat food. Good buy for people who find vegetable chopping time consuming while they have to cook quickly and leave for work. This Amazon brand Solimo chopper is far better than pigeon chopper. The plastic bowl is bigger in size and therefore it becomes easy to hold the container while pooling the string. Whereas in pigeon chopper the container sometime slips from hand while pooling and once it accidentally falls then the plastic bowl breaks immediately and its of no use. After two pigeon chopper bowl broke, I decided to try this one and believe me it’s too good. The build quality feels better than other choppers. It chops vegetables like onions and tomatoes nicely and easily. When we pull the strings, it moves smoothly. Since container is bigger, we can chopp more quantity. I hope this works little longer than one that I used earlier.
The knob which holds the blade to the lid broke on the eleventh day of purchase. Maybe cheap plastic?Not a durable product. Refer screenshot.
Choppers are very handy and make cooking quick. However, this one is really bad in terms of quality. Within a month, it has cracks all over. I had bought 5 pieces for everyone to use in my family and friends. Everyone has the same complaint about this product. I have used choppers of other brands before and they were much more durable than this one.

It has not even been a month, and this chopper has stopped working. How do I get it replaced? The plastic body has major cracks, and chord mechanism stopped working!!! The blade was sharp as long as it lasted but now I’m left with a nearly broken/cracked bowl and a no use chord and definitely no chopper!

Next, there are 2 pairs of blades along the stem that will slice/mince, longer or larger pieces of vegetables. The blades are too sharp to be handled or cleaned by hand. Never try to clean these blades stem by hand.The bowl is so big that about 1/2kg of minced cabbage (moderate size) can easily fit into it. If one has less time to cook, mincing the vegetables to finer grains using this, is very helpful. The cooking of such minced vegetables becomes faster. The pull string seems of good strength and can sustain force very well. The mincing seems way too fine and there is a fear of loss of vitamins and hence should be used to check the chopped size of the vegetables.Extra care to be taken to handle the blades. The bowl plastic is strong and sturdy. Overall a 4.5/5 for the product.I bought this to use mincing of tomatoes for the rasam… when there is a power outage and I cannot use the blender. , And also for Onions. One will find it handy when you have a lot of vegetables to chop for salads and chat food. pulling properly in right direction and washing blades in running tap water after use.. retains the product for longer useblades are really sharp. be careful while washing them. my advice not to touch the blades at all..(donot forcefully pull the rope if there is a lock between blade and food item , remove the lid release the lock and use it again. if locking occurs again, cuts the food item into smaller piece and use this cutter for fine chopping

This Amazon brand Solimo chopper is far better than pigeon chopper. The plastic bowl is bigger in size and therefore it becomes easy to hold the container while pooling the string. Whereas in pigeon chopper the container sometime slips from hand while pooling and once it accidentally falls then the plastic bowl breaks immediately and its of no use. After two pigeon chopper bowl broke, I decided to try this one and believe me it’s too good. The build quality feels better than other choppers. It chops vegetables like onions and tomatoes nicely and easily. When we pull the strings, it moves smoothly. Since container is bigger, we can chopp more quantity. I hope this works little longer than one that I used earlier.
The knob which holds the blade to the lid broke on the eleventh day of purchase. Maybe cheap plastic?Not a durable product. Refer screenshot.
Choppers are very handy and make cooking quick. However, this one is really bad in terms of quality. Within a month, it has cracks all over. I had bought 5 pieces for everyone to use in my family and friends. Everyone has the same complaint about this product. I have used choppers of other brands before and they were much more durable than this one.

All of them are simply cheap Chinese imports. So if you must want to buy it then buy the Pigeon one because there is no meaning in paying a higher amount for the same thing.
This is very TINY! So small that you would think you ordered a different product. Product images don’t do justice to show actual size. The lid doesn’t have a “slide and lock” mechanism, simply sits on the base. You have to cut the veggies quite small in order to comfortably pull the handle which makes it counter productive. Instructions advise we fill the bowl 50% for optimal chopping which again considering how small this already is makes is counter productive. There’s a rubber ring at the bottom for grip which constantly comes off! We might as well just manually cut veggies!

Works well only for about a month. The string got loose. Ive seen cheaper ones work for a longer time!
I bought 3 of these, and although used sparingly its components are really very fragile. Everyone working with it can not be expected to be judicious. Then, one day something inside breaks. There is no servicing facility to replace even minor damaged parts. Whole thing then becomes useless. So buy it considering these aspects.
Very good product, using it for last 8 months. Wife was very happy.. but now it started showing signs of break-down.. Its a good designed product. Can be self-serviced with little screwdriver or something we can open the lid where that system of contraction is there. Its no metal so good to see that. Easy to fix, but now its been 3 times a week, I am fixing it. So I think time is up to purchase a new one. Blade quality is good and really useful. Its quick to clean and use that makes this excellent kitchen product. Go for it. I am ordering my next one in tomorrow’s sale 🙂
