Been 3 months.. it’s Working good. Look every non stick tawa needs good maintenance to long last. Don’t wash it with steel scrub, don’t use steel spoons on it… Gentle wash or clean it with wet cloth… I loved this product.. it’s good for medium size roti or paratha.

The best company in matter of cookware. All Hawkins product are very durable & should be bought without any second thought. I am Hawkins fan. Have tried other companies too, but have been frustrated when it comes to durability. Hawkins is a bit expensive but it is worth a buy. But please follow the instructions on taking care. You won’t regret. I can swear on it.

7 stars actually. This tawa is truly amazing with a nice and extra smooth flat surface, a raised edge for safe cooking and of course a broad induction base. I don’t know why Hawkins didn’t think about making the handle more comfortable and strong but it’s okay. Finally got the best tawa of our life. Many thanks to Hawkins. Superb product. Writing after a month of use. Feels rich at looks, reasonably wide to make a 5 to 6 inches Dosa very easily. Very easy to clean. If your maid hates you then she will destroy it by washing it incorrectly. 🙂

I bought this expensive hawkins non stick tawa with lot of hope after trying out low cost brands and expensive brand like prestige. None of them had lasted more than a year. I wanted a tawa which would last for atleast 2-3 years, I went for hawkins futura. The product was indeed well built and sturdy. I took a lot of care such as to use it in medium-low flame, cool down before washing, only using wooden spatula, using a soft sponge to clean etc. My use was very minimal, just twice a week. However the tawa gave up and the coating started peeling is just over 1 year of use. Tried to claim warranty for it, the process was burdening as I had to make multiple trips to a specific shop in the city, it was not worth the money, time and energy. Finally dumped it and disposed off. Now I am back to low cost brands under Rs 400, I am pretty much ok if it lasts upt 6 months, I would buy a new one every 6 months rather than expensive products like this.

Except handle design every thing is very satisfied. One star less due to poor and uncomfortable design of handle.

Today I got the product. I have used it and found it very user friendly. But little small. So, better to purchase 26cm tawa. And the steel handle is so skiddy.

I have used it only a few times, for shallow frying. So far it seems to be a good quality product. It is not so lightweight, but that is is a sign of quality. Good heat distribution and easy to clean. Although the handle is steel, it does not get hot at all.When you buy note the size of the tava. The one I bought is 22 cms in diameter. Hawkins have two larger sizes also. Buy the smallest one possible considering your needs. Larger one will naturally consume a bit more fuel.Note that the bottom of the tawa is slightly curved. It is not flat.

Its condition is good for the first 2 to 3 months, but after that it starts sticking dosa. The coating layer occur small breaks. This product I got is still in warranty period.I followed DO’S and DON’TS mentioned in the manual book that came with the futura hawkins tawa. Overall the quality of the product is worst. If this continues iam recommending not to buy this product spending huge amount. The company has to replace the product.

 The pan is too big for complete heat distribution and you have to really keep it on high fire which takes 5-6 mins and 3 mins for each dosa to become crispy. Not worth the money n time that you wud invest

 I found two problems with this tawa:-1) This is not a flat tawa as claimed.It is concave with a dip in center.(See video attached)2)The weight of the tawa on Amazon is misleading.I found actual weight to be ~1.39kgs.The product description offers multiple weights at multiple places which are package weights and not tawa weight.This is outright misleading to the consumer.Weight is one of the most important factor while buying the dosa tawa as it indicates how heat will be distributed across the surface.Make an informed decision for yourself.I have attached a video if they ever allow it to be published.

🍳💖I purchased Hawkins Tawa & using since 8 months it is best to cook dosas they are very thin and crispy with low oil ,, I read lot of negative comments but it is good for me it still working like the first day it works🍳 ❤❤❤🍳Tips : Firstly heat the tawa on low flame only , after u putting the dosa batter u can high the flame , after removing the dosa u have to low the flame , continue this for every dosa its not that much critical 👌It longs the durability of the tawa .Thanks amazon and Hawkins future for such an amazing tawa 💞🍳💞

The best company in matter of cookware. All Hawkins product are very durable & should be bought without any second thought. I am Hawkins fan. Have tried other companies too, but have been frustrated when it comes to durability. Hawkins is a bit expensive but it is worth a buy. But please follow the instructions on taking care. You won’t regret. I can swear on it.

7 stars actually. This tawa is truly amazing with a nice and extra smooth flat surface, a raised edge for safe cooking and of course a broad induction base. I don’t know why Hawkins didn’t think about making the handle more comfortable and strong but it’s okay. Finally got the best tawa of our life. Many thanks to Hawkins. And last but not the least, Amazon continues to amaze with great prompt service.

The product is of best possible quality. As a non stick dosa tawa which is both induction and gas compatiable nothing can be better than this.

I have used it only a few times, for shallow frying. So far it seems to be a good quality product. It is not so lightweight, but that is is a sign of quality. Good heat distribution and easy to clean. Although the handle is steel, it does not get hot at all.When you buy note the size of the tava. The one I bought is 22 cms in diameter. Hawkins have two larger sizes also. Buy the smallest one possible considering your needs. Larger one will naturally consume a bit more fuel.Note that the bottom of the tawa is slightly curved. It is not flat.

I bought this expensive hawkins non stick tawa with lot of hope after trying out low cost brands and expensive brand like prestige. None of them had lasted more than a year. I wanted a tawa which would last for atleast 2-3 years, I went for hawkins futura. The product was indeed well built and sturdy. I took a lot of care such as to use it in medium-low flame, cool down before washing, only using wooden spatula, using a soft sponge to clean etc. My use was very minimal, just twice a week. However the tawa gave up and the coating started peeling is just over 1 year of use. Tried to claim warranty for it, the process was burdening as I had to make multiple trips to a specific shop in the city, it was not worth the money, time and energy. Finally dumped it and disposed off. Now I am back to low cost brands under Rs 400, I am pretty much ok if it lasts upt 6 months, I would buy a new one every 6 months rather than expensive products like this.

Except handle design every thing is very satisfied. One star less due to poor and uncomfortable design of handle.

Its condition is good for the first 2 to 3 months, but after that it starts sticking dosa. The coating layer occur small breaks. This product I got is still in warranty period.I followed DO’S and DON’TS mentioned in the manual book that came with the futura hawkins tawa. Overall the quality of the product is worst. If this continues iam recommending not to buy this product spending huge amount. The company has to replace the product.

I tried my best to locate a local outfit that will sell this product and did not find it. The product was shipped with the bottom chipped. we did not see it initially and started using it and while washing it the first time, we saw the chipping. we are living with it because it is on the bottom side and not on the top. This is the second time that has happened. the first time, it was under the sticker. we had thrown the sticker and were stuck with a product. The product is exactly as described, online sellers do not do a good job of sending out the right quality product. Not happy.

Today I got the product. I have used it and found it very user friendly. But little small. So, better to purchase 26cm tawa. And the steel handle is so skiddy.

Been 3 months.. it’s Working good. Look every non stick tawa needs good maintenance to long last. Don’t wash it with steel scrub, don’t use steel spoons on it… Gentle wash or clean it with wet cloth… I loved this product.. it’s good for medium size roti or paratha.

It is good but after using 2months the nonstick coating layer is removing.and it badly effect on my dosa really don’t kw what to do with dat.

It is useful for making chapatis…. And for Dosa it’s not good…. First u have to apply oil and wait till it is smoky … Then remove oil , and then spread Dosa batter…. Sometimes it doesn’t work for our urad Dal Dosa …. Instead go for nonstick only

This is the conditions of so called mentioned High quality nonstick 28cm dosa tawa in just 8 months.It’s mentioned 2 years guarantee, but from 3rd month only it will start showing it’s fake quality. Even after taking all d precautions of use (like *wash it when it’s completely cold with d given scrubber only, * don’t heat it more thn mentioned minutes on high flame * do not use cold water when surface is hot etc etc)Clearly coating flakes are coming out and sticking to dosa if be in use which can leads to serious health issues.So overall i can not use it.Now the question is who will replace it ? Amazon or Hawkins as return date is already passed from Amazon side and Hawkins never picked my call.It’s very pathetic evn after spending huge amount can’t get good product with responsibility of guarantee/warrantee.

Using the product for the past week. I bought it to make omelettes alone. Works fine with a bit of oil. The eggs don’t stick and the size is good to make a three egg omelette. Just remember that it’s anodised aluminum and not non stick, hence it requires oil.The pan is a heavy one and looks durable. My sister has been using one for the past six years for the same , so I guess must be durable.
