Editing my review. This product is picking up rust. You need to take good care of this including wiping it clean before storing it. Any traces of water can lead to the product rusting.
Very hefty and sturdy pair of shears for garden use. Not sure how well it will hold up against rust after sustained use. But after a month of use, it is pretty darn impressive. Have also used other Falcon garden tools and have been very impressed with their product quality.Will update after a longer period of sustained use. As of now, highly recommended.

The Falcon Major has a clean cutting blade, it does not crush the stalk. The precision blades and locking mechanism did not diminish over time. First I thought at this price it must be ordinary just like previous one that I have purchased. But matter of fact, it is very durable, hard and strong. The spring with in it is not visible which is advantageous in my opinion. Also lock system present with in the system and that one is metallic unlike my previous one. Technology for cutting is also awesome where blade enter into a grooved section. Weight is good enough. At this price it is excellent product. Only thing you need to double verify the price as lower price options are available in the site but you may need to wait few extra days for delivery.
Good quality product. it is a bit heavy, but that also gives a better grip. the lock keeps the blades safely locked when not in use. the blade is coated with grease when delivered. one point to note is, after usingthese for trimming/ cutting it is important to keep it coated with oil to avoid rusting of the blade. I usually gently apply a drop of coconut oil after every / second use.
Bought the first one around 4 years ago which is still working in perfect order. Needed a second one for another location so this is the 2nd one I have purchased. The Falcon Major has a clean cutting blade, it does not crush the stalk. The precision blades and locking mechanism did not diminish over time. The important thing is to keep these well cleaned after each use, regularly lightly oiled and adjusted. Trouble-free product, well built and sturdy.
The brass plate as shown in the picture is missing. In reality this is much lighter than expected. Other competitors are preferable.
Heavy and solid build. Loved it. The blade is very sharp and can reach through branches easily. Price is also reasonable. Made in India.
Item was good but the seller intentionally use marker pen over printed MRP of the item to hide the original MRP. This is not justified.

The intended use is for pruning young trees in a small orchard and it serves the purpose very satisfactorily. I have not used the product long enough to confirm that it is sturdy, though it may well be the case.
Very good product and it is very useful for the people who loves gardening. To maintain the garden these type of tool are very useful. “Value for money”
