Also give 2-3 wheat bread slices or roti. I generally give this food 3 times per day to puppies till 7 to 8 months, after that it depends on size and breed, etc. Reduce to 2 times per day Try to keep the diet under control. Keep a check on deworming schedule. For giant breeds don’t give them too much food. Diet of Labrador and St.Bernard there is not much difference. So dont give them to much to eat. Keep the diet in check, weight the food every time. Morning, afternoon and night. bcoz some people give too much food and they eat gup gup so fast. Large Qty feeding can cause them to become fat, then it may cause hip & other problems specially in giant breed like st bernard. Give 3 medium size diets instead of 2 large feeding per day.

1. i dont know about 5 signs of good health but this contains many of the micro and macro nutrients which is essential for a dog. supplementing this with some milk, and raw eggs cooked ragi.2. i bought this mainly because we had to cook ragi too often. this helps extend the frequency by which we cook ragi.3. its good enough. i like the smell. i can confidently say that if i were a dog i would be all over this.4. i ordered a 10kg pack. its particularly difficult to preserve the freshness for more than a month. pedigree should reinvent the way we use this. maybe give it an airtight flap in the bottom from which the food can be removed.5. feeding the dog only this would be a costly affair. hence we use half pedigree and half home made food like ragi.its a good product. i would recommend it to people who struggle to prepare food very frequently. helps you feed nutritious food for your best friend

I have tried to make them eat this multiple times, but in the end, the dog food ended up being eaten by the cats.I have another dog (a street dog.. I LOVE to give them a home) at another location. When I visited, I saw it was quite thin and malnourished. The caretakers looking after her loved her but was unable to give her the right food. I started to send monthly subscriptions to this location from amazon and this was one of the products included in it. Within a couple of months, the dog gained 7-8 kg of body weight.

I subscribe Pedigree Puppy Food (15kg) every month, but this time the sack was in very poor condition, even the manufacturing details were not legible, it looks like an old stock, after stressing a lot I could make out it had manufacturing date of January 2018 (9 months old), but I had no other option than to accept it since I was running out of food for my puppies. I din’t have the time to cancel it and buy another one coz it might take another 10 days to arrive. So I had to take the risk this time. But I’m not going to subscribe again. Doesn’t the package go through any quality check before it is sent out to the customer ?Very irresponsible.

Once in 3 months from adult dogs as well. Deworm the new kid when you adopt as soon as possible* calcium tonic and liver tonics are a must. Dog stores have exorbitant price for them. Try this, Patanjali Calcium (has Vitamins and more) for Cow 5liter costs rs.440, and Himalaya Live52 5liter are very good options.Good Luck

I have a golden retriever. Till 6 months I use to feed him RC and then I decided to switch to Drools as it was getting a little heavy on my wallet. The product is very nice with proper packing and zipper for protection from moisture. My dog absolutely loves the food but I can’t say this for all the dogs as mine is a hardcore hungry breed. He will eat pretty much everything that I offer. If feeding your pet is getting hard on your expenditure, you can easily switch to this or something which doesn’t have corn or wheat in their ingredients.PLEASE NOTE – Although Pedigree & Drools other variants (milk, chicken ones) are quite a lot cheaper than this or RC, I highly recommend not to go for that as they are made by animal by-products and includes corn and wheat in their ingredients. It’s better to spend a little extra on the food than spending a lot on meds later.Also, do remember to buy a 1 or 3 kg pack before going for a big one. Switching time in food varies from breed to breed. Gradually switch to a new food by mixing it with older for a duration of 4-7 days and then you can finally remove the old one. Switching to new completely at once may result in your dog getting confused and rejecting the food.PROS-#It’s free from corn & wheat which is like slow poison, especially for dogs.#Bang for the buck, as its manufactured in India, price wise it fits nicely into your budget while giving top quality food (almost on par with RC)#Comes in a good packaging with a zipper to protect the food from moisture.#Your dog’s coat, energy & stool will be improved.CONS-#Kibble size is very small, so some dogs like mine may swallow it without chewing. Buying this was a horrible mistake and a waste of money.We feed royal canin to our lab and bought this as a change of flavor… Firstly it has a horrible stench and the room keeps stinking for a long time. My boy didn’t like it at all, had a hard time getting him eat it.Fed him this for 3-4 days and we noticed loss of fur and red boils developing on the skin and stopped immediately. The rashes went away after we stopped this. If you want a healthy dog, don’t feed him/her this horrible thing ever.

After consuming this food my labrador fell very sick and as we noticed it the food was contaminated with plastic threads and then we discontinued as per doctor’s advice.Then I purchased drools from the pet shop the quality and taste both are good and its very cost efficient and even my labrador loves it.

My black Labrador finds this brand of dog food okay-ish. I usually mix it with milk and chapati. If I give him a bowl full of this for three continuous meals, his stomach seems to get upset and hence I prefer to mix it with something or the other. Otherwise, I’ve had a 20kg pack for about 6 months now and it’s a cheaper alternative to the other brands in the market.

The product itself is good. But my spoiled brats knew that this was good for them sooooooo…… they turned up their noses at this. I have tried to make them eat this multiple times, but in the end, the dog food ended up being eaten by the cats.I have another dog (a street dog.. I LOVE to give them a home) at another location. When I visited, I saw it was quite thin and malnourished. The caretakers looking after her loved her but was unable to give her the right food. I started to send monthly subscriptions to this location from amazon and this was one of the products included in it. Within a couple of months, the dog gained 7-8 kg of body weight.

I found a nearly dead 2 week old puppy with mange, stomach problems, digestion problems, thin and weak at the side of the road.I ordered this food fast delivery, started treating the mange with Neem oil, which must be combined with healthy food, and of course checked with the vet.Now when I walk down the street 6 weeks later people ask me “which kind of exotic European dog I have”.The food is good, it has also helped a rather sick neighbourhood cat who wasnt weaned properly.Please note: it states clearly on the packet to take care of the food as it doesn’t contain chemicals, a big plus for your pet. I have done that. If you don’t follow these directions, you will not have the excellent result I have.

Product is good, now using it regularly. worth regular purchase, good ingredients. I give this to my St.Bernard regularly, I have used many bags over the years, Pfizer SaburVida was very good few yrs back but then it stopped coming to india. Focus is good. Recommend for Adults= Drools Large Breed 12kg Red bag (now white), For puppies/junior = Focus Puppy 15kg black bag. Better than RC* Try porridge, oat, wheatnsoya rotis, curd or butter milk is very good for dogs, don’t give left over food to your pets, also don’t give that left over gravy those mess up with the intestines.* keep a check on deworming. Once in 3 months from adult dogs as well. Deworm the new kid when you adopt as soon as possible* calcium tonic and liver tonics are a must. Dog stores have exorbitant price for them. Try this, Patanjali Calcium (has Vitamins and more) for Cow 5liter costs rs.440, and Himalaya Live52 5liter are very good options.Good Luck

I m asked the flavour…not sure I can give stars for flavour..my dog ate it happily did not get any side effects which is a bonus.My dog is a 10years old LabradorHe has problems with Pedigree and Nestle Purina..he gets UTI infection..so besides Royal Canine this brand has left him side effect free..the main reason I bought this was it uses real meat not fillers which is basically all the waste or body parts of animals..when I googled the complaints and reviews of pedigree and Purina after my dog was having major bladder issues even after antibiotics.I was horrified.I thought back to what was new with his life matched dates with symptoms surfacing and bingo discontinued the nuggets and within 48hrs without any further meds he was normal again.Long story short this company Drools Focus has quality product and I am reordering.

I have a golden retriever. Till 6 months I use to feed him RC and then I decided to switch to Drools as it was getting a little heavy on my wallet. The product is very nice with proper packing and zipper for protection from moisture. My dog absolutely loves the food but I can’t say this for all the dogs as mine is a hardcore hungry breed. He will eat pretty much everything that I offer. If feeding your pet is getting hard on your expenditure, you can easily switch to this or something which doesn’t have corn or wheat in their ingredients.PLEASE NOTE – Although Pedigree & Drools other variants (milk, chicken ones) are quite a lot cheaper than this or RC, I highly recommend not to go for that as they are made by animal by-products and includes corn and wheat in their ingredients. It’s better to spend a little extra on the food than spending a lot on meds later.Also, do remember to buy a 1 or 3 kg pack before going for a big one. Switching time in food varies from breed to breed. Gradually switch to a new food by mixing it with older for a duration of 4-7 days and then you can finally remove the old one. Switching to new completely at once may result in your dog getting confused and rejecting the food.PROS-#It’s free from corn & wheat which is like slow poison, especially for dogs.#Bang for the buck, as its manufactured in India, price wise it fits nicely into your budget while giving top quality food (almost on par with RC)#Comes in a good packaging with a zipper to protect the food from moisture.#Your dog’s coat, energy & stool will be improved.CONS-#Kibble size is very small, so some dogs like mine may swallow it without chewing. [Place a big stone or rock in your pet’s bowl or get a slow eating bowl to remove this problem]#The smell of this food is quite strong so for some it could be an issue. Product and delivery is excellent. Always look for the ingredients and analysis percentage, you will have an idea about the product. It is wheat ,corn and soy free. Fresh chicken is the no.1 ingredient here. Also it has oatmeal, probiotics and prebiotics. Minimum- Protein 28% fat 16% crude fibre- 2.5%. Also remember at the end of the day, it depends on the dog, whether he/she likes the food or not. Quality wise, go for this brand blindly if your pet loves this. Else a little added money will bring you Canine Creek and Fidele in this range. If you have money, i suggest you go for Orijen or Akina( royal canin becomes a baby compared to this rich brands lol).My 3 months old pug puppy has become more muscular after getting drools focus.Her stool is hard. I feed her drools focus twice out of her four meals everyday. The other two meals i give is home meals having little rice or roti, potato or egg and veggies. Thanks.
