Overall it’s a good machine, window and office is already installed, only you have to follow some simple process to activate and then use, inbuilt graphics card is ok, little bit heavier as it’s 2.5 kg machine but performance is quite impressive. If you are looking for a laptop with same configuration go for it.

Good product, based on use in past 3 days, Windows updates, MS Office up and running and I got to work in 30 minutes after delivery, no hassles. Build quality is good. Fast and responsive laptop.

The outer black shell (it’s plastic and not metal) looks cheap and gets easily coated with fine dust. ( No match for the Toshiba I have which has a silver coloured shell) .Now I am going to buy a fancy ‘skin’ to cover up the poor exterior! Although I bought a 15.6″ piece it looks like a 13-14″ monitor. The performance too is slower than my expectation. The laptop takes 2-3 minutes to boot up even without any heavy apps. The worst part of the laptop is the Mouse. It’s not very sensitive to touch or clicks. ( I think my old Toshiba Tecra laptop was much better in looks and performance) Most of us get carried away by specs/features but somewhere the hardware/software have mismatches leading to deficiency in performance. Ultimately having bought a ‘costly’ elephant that we cannot ditch we are forced to live with it. I believe all leading brands are compromising on the quality of the components to stay in the competition, particularly those in the sub-1,500 USD categories. Colour rendition of the display is just about average. Pros : It’s light weight. Came with licensed Windows 10 and MS Office.On board Storage is decent. Best of all it has the numerical pad on the Right side ( just like a Desktop PC keyboard).

Received laptop on 26th October2018 , after trying to installing windows on it the screen was coming totally blank, call customer care to exchange the product as it is defective one they told me send there engineer , but as my product is in replacement mode they are not doing it in fact appoint engineer on 31st October 2018.i paid my hard earn money for useful product not for defective pcs don’t buy any Dell products online.Let’s see what’s to come .

Every 15 days I m in customer service center to replace the part. Photo will show u current situation of 4 month or Laptop. DONT EVER BUY DELL PRODUCT THEY DON’T THINK ABOUT CUSTOMER. I have recently lodged new customer complaint for replacement (as you can see the situation of my laptop) then I will retract my words until then please I would advise you not to use this Dell products. Each purchase from you will give the power to bully honest customers like me.

This product have graphic card AMD radeon530 but I got AMD Radeon520.when I called them they answered that they will not give replacement for single damage and they told to ask manufacturers (Dell showroom).but they didn’t respond 😑.finally I am using AMD Radeon520 only

My previous laptop also from Dell Inspiron series , I used it for 11 years, still running, excellent quality ,no major repair during it’s life except fan change,excellent build quality. That’s why I preferred Dell again this model also looks good , good build quality ,core i3 7th gen, FHD display , 4gb RAM and 1TB hardisk good specs at this price range. It’s been 2 weeks I’m using it, so far everything looks good. Intially boot speed bit slow, I removed all Dell preinstalled applications boot speed significantly improved. Not heating up much this is best laptop for home use (not for multi media and games).if you need good performance then upgrade RAM with another 4GB and an SSD as this laptop comes with 2 RAM modules and M.2 NVME SSD slot. This laptop comes with liscenced versions of Windows 10 home version , Office 2019 home & student version and McAfee antivirus application (15 months) as preinstalled.

Please don’t buy this product, Body plastic poor quality & performance is also bad.

They are fooling us by giving i3 8th gen But its motherboard does not supports it. And it stucks at its base frequency.But now they have fixed it by BIOS update, but still it has some issues with 1903 windows 10 update.

Product was pretty good

Battery backup is very bad also there are oveeheating issues with the laptop.

Windows activated but MS office not activated…. Nobody responded till date….

physically it looks good but I don’t know whether the configurations and inside buildup are authentic because it doesn’t work properly sometimes and even get hung. This kind of functional failure is not supposed to have occurred in such a latest configured and powerful machine. I would prefer to buy this kind of stuff from an authentic website like Dell official site.

Wrost received wrong product

The 15.6 inch laptop with i5 8th Gen, 1 TB Hard disk space, 8 GB Ram is excellent for everyday use, web surfing, watching movies, etc..Note: The MS Office pre-installed here is a one month trial version and not with lifetime license. Sellers should clearly mention it.one of the sellers wrote in Q&A that MS Office in this product has lifetime validity, which is false information. Amazon should take that down and also take action against the seller for false info.

Bought the laptop after many comparisons (including offline Dell stores) and i am happy that i got a good deal from amazon including cashback and exchange. Given the price after that it is a good deal for this laptop. I am writing this review after 7 days of using the laptop. Laptop performance is good, quick activation of windows after connecting to the internet. I only use it for browsing and downloading movies and doing some personal work. No heavy stuff so for that i5 8th gen with 8 gb ram is good. Office and McAfee got activated for lifetime. Only minus point was that warranty was only valid for 8 months and when i called amazon helpdesk and they said that the invoice date matters and Dell would entertain that. I then followed with Dellcare on Twitter and after producing the invoice they changed the warranty date to one year. So no issues there. Seller packing was good and the product was delivered without any scratches.

I was using DELL STUDIO 15 from past 9 years. And I am very satisfied with this configuration at this price
