very nice camera, light and color saturation is very good…. excellent portrait pictures even at low light @ focal length >15mm (i.e. after some optical zoom)….. “some review that cellphone pictures are better than this…. but its not true i suggest them first learn to operate camera then review a product, i compared the images with iphone7. worth buying this at 8k it has larger aperture(f/3.0) than ixus285/275(f/3.6). #image stabilizer works very smooth. #depth and resolution is enough to print in A2 size paper dont compare it with DSLRs…… but light of portrait pictures are comparable with canonDSLR(55-255mm lens)….. at moderate to good light condition(even indoor shooting)

This is a point and shoot cam and made in that perspective so it will fullfill the requirement even if you dont know anything in photography. You no need to give any inputs.2, wi fi interface is awesome. We can directly download images without cable and easy to connect.3,if you want to learn or do something in photography just select powershot series. Otherwise ixus is suitable for u.4, perfomance in low light is awesome but do not zoom in low light . This is a common faults in dslr too . Every cam has flash range so this is not a drawback.5,body made up of plastic . I think silver will be best in look than black and blue. This two has a glossy finish and seems delicate product.6, over all best cam in this price range

Pros:1.The #NoisePlayVlog is a pretty decent 4k Action Camera at the price tag of INR 6999/=2.One of the main advantage is the mic port and mic provided.3. All necessary fitment are provided in the box with 30m water-proof case.4.Built-in WiFi to View and control the Action Camera through your mobile.Cons: 1. The only thing it misses is the touch screen.2.Also every time you have to change the Mode, you have to go in a cyclic manner.3. The Video is saved in .mov format and there aren’t option to change the file type.4. The editing software is very basic and doesn’t have much feature.Noise should work on their software and upgrade it.5. Since the Video is in .mov it doesn’t play in any mobile video player or whatsapp.6. A Selfie stick is missing.

Poor quality

When I purchased this camera I was new to photography with such a type of camera. Now I am 2k+ photos experienced. Said that I would also state I am nowhere near even to say I know 1% of basics of photography. I just do it the way it pleases me.Some of my pics I have shared here. None of them is edited. Just captured in manual mode. With a range of settings control. This is show the versatility of the camera.Coming to the camera.. The pros and cons which I would mention in layman’s languagePros:1. You can take picture of cute smile of person sitting next to you and decently detailed photo of moon with the same camera without the issues of replacing the lens2. The cost is very cheap for the quality of pics its providing, given that you should know how to handle it and use its features to its best of ability.3. It captures the details of the picture very well. Refer the different pics linked alongwith this comment.4. With the help of Cannon app one can easily transfer photos from camera to mobile instantly, it uses mobile wifi to do it., so the speed of transferring is extremely good.5. One can start playing with following three settings to learn to take good quality pics in manual mode: 1) aperture setting, 2) shutter speed and 3) ISO. If you have time try to read about it on internet, else you can simply learn by changing it and observe what is happening. Else, auto mode is always there for those who don’t want to do it. Only thing is you are not always assured of the quality of the pics. The range of these settings are more in high end cameras which 8 out of 10 times we won’t feel its necessary.6. Lightweight: I feel, It falls in feather weight category of the cameras out there! At times when I am carrying its case I just press it and see to be sure whether the camera is inside it or not. This is a disadvantage with high end cameras since the lens weights adds up which makes it inconvenient.Cons:1. Only issue I felt was the maximum number of photos one can capture in a single charge is just 200! A normal dslr captures any where between 400-600 pics in once charge!But considering the price this short coming can also can be neglected. Else carrying an additional battery can sort that issue too.For all the beginners and photo enthusiasts out there who are not interested in shelling out too much bucks pick up this one and capture the beautiful moments around you. You won’t regret a bit.

Picture quality during day time is excellent. Good for beginners. But picture quality is not good in low light. Best for outdoor photograph. Overall performance is excellent.

I understand that in this price of one camera you will get two entry level DSLR. But trust me, the quality of pictures coming out of this is nothing less than a intermediate level DSLR. You can’t even complain… And it comes in a small size that fits in your pocket. I only bought this camera for its portability. I used it on my honeymoon and got very good pictures. Didn’t even have the hassle of carrying special bag for this. And I don’t know half of the functions. Even in auto mode this works like a charm. I was willing to spend more for portability. I don’t regret my decision at all!!

I have bought this camera a year and a half back, and over the period I have realized its potential. This is one of the best in its category and for its time. I will just try to put the Pros/Cons I have had based on my way of usage.Pros — Day time performance is almost flawless and picture come out very well in terms of clarity, color and details.- Since I use this to capture pics of my daughter most of the times, the Sport’s mode pics come equally well as its hard to make children stay still for long :)- On days where I put this on a tripod and want photos auto-clicked, I would just enable the face detect feature, as soon as it gets a face in focus it would take the pic.- Indoor photos come very natural toned if u pull the flash towards ceiling to make the light reflect from top rather than flash throwing all light on the subjects. Again the movable flash makes it possible.- Again low light photos where flash is not possible or subjects are a little far, you can achieve good pic by switching to manual mode (though you need some knowledge of what setting to do and how as per the Envt.) Fo those who are really new, thye can chose modes like Aperture only/Shutter Only rather than full manual modeCons — Not really much to complain on picture quality side, but the camera had to visit service center twice over 1.5 years due to lens Jam. Not sure if I am unlucky or its a problem in this model. Lets hope it does not die on me after 2 year warranty is over.PS: Pl vote yes, if u find the review Useful.

When I did order it then showing on screen and 16 GB sd card but when I did delivered it I found 8 Gb sd card…..This is cheating with customers..And quality is is not well of this cameraThis is not Good ……Don’t purchase it…..

Had been using Canon cameras for past 6 years and hence trusted Canon and Amazon hence ordered IXUS 285 series while planning a vacation trip.The delivery took more than a week and on testing found that it can’t do the basics. It can’t focus on the intended objects and shoot a clear picture. Tried changing settings, used tripod, used macro, but all in vain. How hard you try it had a poor software hardware combo die to which it’s unable to take any clear shots..On top, when I tried to return this pathetic product within 2nd day, Amazon customer service agent says they will provide only replacement and no return refund..Won’t recommend this camera or Amazon to anyone..

We understand that this is a slightly old model, but it serves our purpose. The Box was in perfectly sealed condition, for which we are additionally happy.

I have read some disappointing reviews from buyers , the camera is meant for daylight photography. Keep the ISO low at 100 for daylight, for long zoom shot put the cam on tripod or firm place . I think this camera is capable of great picture quality with nice sharpness and color.
