It’s a solid air pump. My parents unknowingly disconnected the check valve and tank water flooded this machine last week. I thought it was gone. But without any repairs it’s running fine. Sound wise.. it gives a slight humming noise. But definitely a good well constructed product which is very much vfm as are most boyu products.

This pump is good for a larger tanks of at least 20 gallons, but it is very noisy and there is no air control. The pump vibrates when it is on, since my aquarium is in my bedroom I cannot keep it on as it is loud. I still use it to supply good burst of oxygen to the tank when I have cleaned the aquarium but other times it is just sitting on the table unplugged. This is not for people looking for a noiseless and low power pump.
Actually its enough if u have a air stone or a air strip.. Cuz mostly you will be forced to turn the speed down in costly air pumps so that your fish wont get scared.. So for only one air stone and a air strip this is more than enough.. Go for it best in its price… One star less cuz i was delivered with a air pump which was manufactured in 2015.. Dont knw why but was in purely new condition with the same new product smell! 🙂

One I got defective, when I opened the device I was surprised to see the techniques used for this pump. A simple electromagnet is used to push a little rubber sheet! With a little manipulation I could repair the pump. Its running now! Amazing!

Too loud! Ur fish might get frightened and run away…..horrible sound and very low oxygen output! Wanted to return it but don’t want to go through the hassle of returning for the sake of just 200 bucks!Update: 03 92017 – It stopped working…..
Little noisy . It has only one speed because of which the water bubbles are too big for my small fishes

zelf een EU aansluiting moeten aansluiten, garantie dus verlopen, maar had geen andere keuze, dringend nodig.werkt zoals het moet, geen andere min punten gevonden.
