Got delivery via bluedart today. Packaging was nicer this time with a sealed aluminum (I think) box. This is my 2nd purchase. Previous one last year had a cheap plastic box. I did not get the quality checked though. Hope it is what it says.5aug18-update I did another order and that came with out any additional packaging. Just the gold bar in it’s original packaging. But, this was delivered by Amazon courier service. Compared to the previous one which was managed by BRPL itself I believe. Huge difference . I was expecting another cool looking box. Disappointed;)

Bought 10g 999.9 purity 24 k gold from brpl.And while checking the product it was only 9.8 grams in weight also the purity was less it was only 999.1 which was not at all recommended by any standards.Please buyers stay away from this product.I checked at government centre mmtc.
The gold bar has a sub optimal finish and the quality of edges etc. is way below par. Moreover the bar was out of place in the supposedly tamperproof sealing and was bulging out from the plastic cover. I had to cut open the tamperproof card to avoid the bar bending over time and getting damaged. My first and last purchase from BRPL.
Though I did not verify the purity but also it shows once I break the seal warranty will be void…going by reputation of Brpl, it looks satisfied buying…

Pathetic stuff! I am highly disappointed. Senco brand gold is a good name in the industry. Its ecommerce wing it seems is out to spoil its market reputation. Check out the following:1) There is NO hallmarking as shown in the display image.2) Its a naked coin. No tamper proof packaging or even basic packaging.3) It was delivered in a dabba meant for jewellery.4) The coin did not look brand new. I got the purity of this bar checked at the authorized MMTC PAMP (govt) office. I took other gold coins also for verification. The employee said that the coin is pure gold after checking using a big machine.
I went for lab testing this product and found that the weight was 20 miligram less.
Melt at TANISHQ, coin is of 995 but after melting it comes to 23.8 instead of 23.9 caratomer testing. Little low quality.
In product description it is mentioned that bar will be bis hallmarked encripted / marked.. but when I recieved the product there is no mark. I don’t even know if it’s original product or not
There is no BIS hallmark inscription on the bar as they mentioned in the description….feeling it is cheating of the customers from the side of malabar gold…Amazon authorities should verify such falls descriptions… very much disappointed.

Senco is a reputed brand …Go for it. But delivery time will be slow.

Due to small size
Earrings are same as described and as expected. Decent size for daily wear or could be used for occasional wear too.P.S. Update: Not very comfortable for daily wear.
