Product is fine working directly out of the box. No problem in installation with CD on win 10 pro. I am confused why they are selling 2 year old product. Manufactured in August 2015.
1) delivery in time 2) Good Packing 3) Printer is in good condition 4) Good quality of print 5) killer look 6) compact……. Lol, it took me nearly two hours to install drivers and printers, and to understand how to feed papers. manual is not helpful, driver cd is useless finally had to download and install drivers manually from ricoh website.Printer is delicate so need to handle it carefully. Great printer at lower price but dont know how it will perform in future and how ricoh will provide its support regarding warranty. Printer is little noisy. Printing speed is slow. But it’s OK doesnt matter.
If you do not need wireless printing and need a cheap B/W laser printer with USB connected to a Windows Desktop or Laptop this is the correct printer for you.Paper tray set it to A4 by default its set to A5/A6.Pros:Simple printer, no fuss, does the job pretty good. Highly economical. I had a HP 1050 Inkjet printer which used to cost me Rs. 900 per year for printing 2000 odd prints per year. Now this won’t cost me more than 300 per year for refills plus the HP printer was slow as well.One can refill the toner after 1500 odd prints from a local cartridge vendor. One can refill the cartridge for 3-4 times without any issues. So its already value for money.Cons:Only problem is the original cartridge costs Rs. 4600. Well i print only 2000 prints per year so by next year i will probably just refill this cartridge. So for 2-3 years i will already get the value out of this printer.Anyways i have still kept my HP 1050 for scanner purposes. Do not expect so high out of this printer because it just costs Rs 3500 whereas monochrome printers from HP or other companies start from Rs 9000.Remember/Note: You need the CD to install the driver. Online its not properly given and takes time to find out. Installing the driver via CD is easy and does the job well.Its a August : 2015 packed model so it might be old stock clearance sale happening since the product is over 2 years old.
